Unveiling the Plant Connection
*Ayahuasca[note 1] is a South American (pan-Amazonian)[1] psychoactive brew used both socially and as ceremonial spiritual medicine among the indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin.[2][3] It is a psychedelic and entheogenic mixed drink brew commonly made out of the Banisteriopsis caapi vine, the Psychotria viridis shrub or a substitute, and possibly other ingredients.[4] A chemically similar preparation, sometimes called "pharmahuasca", can be prepared using N,N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and a pharmaceutical monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), such as isocarboxazid.[5][6] B. caapi contains several alkaloids that act as MAOIs, which are required for DMT to be orally active.[7] Ayahuasca is prepared in a tea that, when consumed, causes an altered state of consciousness or "high", including visual hallucinations and altered perceptions of reality.[1]
The other required ingredient is a plant that contains the primary psychoactive, DMT. This is usually the shrub Psychotria viridis,[7] but Diplopterys cabrerana may be used as a substitute.[8][9] Other plant ingredients often or occasionally used in the production of ayahuasca include Justicia pectoralis,[10] one of the Brugmansia (especially Brugmansia insignis and Brugmansia versicolor, or a hybrid breed) or Datura species,[11] and mapacho (Nicotiana rustica).[12]

This science of abstract communication is very strange to European societies and most especially anlien to the academia. To them, every source of knowledge must be controlled and weaponised by the government or powerful secret institutions. This colonial state of mind has negated the natural frequency required to be able to freely access this dimension of knowledge. The summary is that this realm of knowledge is meant for the preservation of the people/ society and not for her colonization. To European societies, whatever they don't understand is considered not useful or outrightly not in existence hence, their penchant for the destruction of other civilizations especially in African and Asia.

I haven’t finished this episode yet, but wanted to comment on the blue lotus. That’s a mild painkiller, sedative, and euphoriant, not a hallucinogen. The Egyptian tree of life contained dmt, as did several of its relatives(Acacia species). There’s a lot of evidence that Egyptians cultivated and consumed some variety of pailocybin mushroom as well. So it’s likely they were using dmt, much like South Americans were using ayahuasca, which is a hallucinogen.

To be honest, i had one greater mushroom trip last year, and the significant change was that i became much more open-minded and became more liberal. One would say it was a sort of "bad trip" because i didn't have a pleasant feeling from it, Altho I don't drink much alcohol, only when there is some gathering with friends, I started avoiding it without giving it a thought even at parties since then. I do some microdosing for a short period of time because that memory from that bigger trip is still overwhelming when i think about it. I plan to do a trip in the future again but i would definitely prefer it as an official session with a professional therapist. The government is making small steps toward therapeutics usage, but i think the progress in that field is too slow, due to the insane and not so clever regulations. Especially considering the fact that alcohol is a much more dangerous drug, it's damaging society and it's legal.

@@thirdafrican1947 Depends on how much you take, the method you use (tea, chewing, with or without lemon etc) and on the rest of your circumstances (empty or full stomach, distractions or not, the company and location you're in). Somewhere between 4-7 hours is usual for a "regular" dose of psilocybin. But what a "regular dose" is, depends on the strength of the shrooms... Sigh! Sorry, i have to come to the conclusion that i cannot really answer your question! ;-)

How unique I usually connect with you. I know of several plants which act directly to our brain. One of them as kids we used to put its stem either on our heads or pockets to confuse the one who is actually planning to punish us. Others actually have medicinal effects on our bodies instead of going to the hospital. But most I used them while in Africa. Here inthe US there is a limitation of access to most of the plants. Thanks to God I found raw rosemary at the play ground where I take my kids to(I do not prefer the dried and packaged ones in the stores at all, I always prefer fresh substances). Am planning to plant some where we live.

Thankyou for recognizing and asking: "why are we getting blocked by govt (all over the globe)??" I believe it's a war against expanding our consciousness. If so, what are they so afraid of? What happens if we learn more about our history....what happens if we "remember" just how much MORE we are as humans. Consciousness .expanding...might equal real magic. Also the last man interviewed there, he either has no knowledge of, or is dismissing all the research into people's experiences with Ayahasca and other teacher plants. Yes, people DO experience communication with other beings...they experience telepathy with one another... they experience mother Aya coming to them and leading them through their healing journey. In that journey, they are taken back to painful experiences and seeing it with new eyes, or reliving it again and then a flushing out of the emotional debris that was frozen in their body/mind at that time in the past. There is so much information and scientific research on this, for those interested in teacher plants I recommend looking up Graham hancock, Javier Regeurio "Ayahasca Soul Medicine of the Amazon jungle", my favorite Dr. Joseph Tafur "The Fellowship of the River" Tafur is native to the Amazon and moved to America at a young age. Went through Med school and went to his homeland to find himself. Such an amazing story, he ended up helping set up a healing centee with a Shaman who insisted on teaching him Shaman skills. Such an amazing journey❤

I have believed for many years that the brain is only the gateway to the mind. The mind is dimensionless or dimension free and is not limited to time and space. I crudely compare the brain to computer memory whereby the brain is the hard drive and has programs in it, to the ram which brings those programs into being. The mind is not a physical thing so how can we limit it to a physical place. I see the mind as the gateway to our spiritual identity

Personally I think hallucinating is always a bad sign. A sign of not being in harmony with nature. A sign of stress - of your body not generating the energy needed to deal with the situation you're in. A survival mechanism of running away from the environment which is not supporting your organism. As long as you're not dead you're still trying to figure out what the problem is and what you need to do. But to keep doing the things which cause you to hallucinate is a grave mistake. One can get stuck to a loop where the hallucinations are messaging you to stop doing the things that cause the hallucinations - so you keep doing the wrong things over and over as it in a way is guiding you in what to do.

I think you have to differentiate between hallucinating and a visionary experience which is completely different. It is wrong to dismiss peoples internal none ordinary states of consciousness as mere hallucinations. Consider the native American visions quests or the rites of passage of some African tribes which are all based on none ordinary states of consciousness as indeed are near death experiences.

Nikola (Tesla) backwards is alokin which in Hindi means “the literal appearance of a lotus”. On the walls in Giza, there is an ancient Egyptian depiction of what, if you look close enough, appears to be a lightbulb. But if you look closer it’s actually a lotus flower. The filament inside is a snake.

A hypothesis exists, that basically says human evolution was jump started by our ancestors encountering hallucinogenic mushrooms as they came down from trees and started exploring the savannah underneath and around said trees.

The hall of records the Egyptians were referring to is the Akashic Records. They were accessing universal source information from the Akashic records. It is not an actual physical place with physical records. When scientists asked the shamans how they knew to mix two plants together to create the ayahuasca brew,(or use plants for healing)they have clearly stated that the”plants showed/told them”(not because they like to experiment). The scientists could not understand the scope of this statement.

how do they know that you are not tapping into universal wisdom with the use of these plants or through the psychedelic experience? I find a lot of misinformation in this video

Please make these episodes longer and more in-depth. Also the endings are very abrupt it sort of leaves you lingering.
