For me it’s 1st - Season 3. This may be unpopular but they went all out for this season. Huge fights , massive drama. Loved it 2nd - season 1 3rd - season 4 4th - season 2 Really enjoy this show. Just because season 2 is last doesn’t mean I don’t like it.

This is a pretty good list. I agree with season 2s placement, although the school fight may be my favourite action set piece in the show so far, and Miguel getting his back broken showed the stakes were real. I'm so psyched for season 5!

My order: Season 3: The relationships are great and the finale is AWESOME! Season 1: A great start to the show Season 4: Terry really carries the season. Wished we had more Daniel and Johnny moments Season 2: Has some cringe moments but still good

For me, there was a huge lack of action in season 4, right up until the all valley, but I felt like the season was carried by the all valley a bit too much so here’s how I’d rank the seasons. Luckily the last two episodes were some of he best of the whole show. 1. S1 2. S4 3. S2 4. S3

Exactly how I’d rank the seasons. I don’t get all the hype with season three because there were just so many story lines I wasn’t invested in. Hawk’s arcs felt rushed and Sam’s entire ‘no karate’ arc took up so much time and I couldn’t stand it at all. She was just so unlikeable and the way she treated her friends was dumb. The soccer and laser tag fights were stupid in my opinion. The laser tag one was a nice fight scene on its own but seeing how it built up just ticked me off. I feel like Robby was barely in the season and when he was he didn’t contribute much. Johnny just kept doing his same “I’m going to get better whoops never mind” thing. I liked it despite this rant and it’s not a bad season but it is at the bottom for dumb character choices.

I agree that there was less action in S4. There were no “arcade fights” or brawls. I do think it has the best writing though, the way they handled silver was exemplary

I think my ranking (best to less best) would go 4, 1, 3, 2. It’s a hard show to rank because it’s so amazing. This show should be the prime example for how to revive a franchise. I still can’t believe it’s already been nearly 4 years since it came out.

Honestly can’t describe how much I love this show. Sure, it could be cheesy, but that’s because the show satisfies multiple generations. It can be so emotional, exciting and nostalgic. I truly believe that the score, editing, and writing really make this show great. It’s something we never asked for but always wanted.

no not you too! think about all the issues in season 4 just got worse with only a few issues fixed. then Miguel didn't even fight and Robby didn't even try because he didn't want to be a bad influence for Kenny. meaning the two strongest fighters under 18 didn't even fight well. and finally, cobra kai also won by cheating

My ranking 4.S3 (didn’t think it worked and the ending left me disappointed but it was still really fun) 3.S4 (great but didn’t love a few parts) 2.S1 (great but somewhat slow at some points) 1.S2 (love this season and thought it was what season 3 should have been more like) there all great though

I think the hype train is clouding people's judgement. Cobra Kai definitely has it fair share of problems especially in season 4. But overall enjoyment is a different list entirely.

For me honestly, Season 2 was the best and certainly the most entertaining to watch. Original fights, grewt eoisode titles, much development (especially for hawk, my fav character), and the music is cool too.

For me 1. Season 4 - The most brilliant season in the series with the strongest drama, character development, and a lot of plot twists in the finale. 2. Season 2 - It had the best moments of this entire series like the mall fight and also the finale of that season is easily my favorite Cobra Kai episode. 3. Season 1 - A perfect start to the series with great character arcs, action, drama. 4. Season 3 - It's in last because I already forgot what happened in most of the episodes but it's still a fantastic season and the darkest one.

for me 1- season 2 it had the best fights and i liked everyone’s character development and 2- season 4 it had the best character storylines and it just raised the stakes even higher for season 5 3- season 1 was a little nervous when i first heard of it because i thought they were gonna scree up the original but little did i know it’s my favorite show introduced so many new characters and a lot of arcs 4- season 3 it was the darkest season but i honestly forgot most of it that’s why it’s low overall no season is bad i like the show and every single episode thank you Jon, Josh, and Hayden for this incredible show

When re-watching the whole series, I think season 3 is the one that stands out the most. It's definitely the darkest and it has some of the best fight scenes in the show. Its also when we get to learn more about Kreese's background (and granted the flashbacks are really well made.) Season 3 is definitely my favorite so far. Ranking 1. Season 3 2. Season 1 3. Season 4 4. Season 2

Season 4 was really good but I felt something was off about it… maybe it was the amount of characters they had to juggle. Personally the second season is my favourite.

I think that the biggest thing is that there are no clear protagonist and antagonist. They try to give all the antagonists of the last few seasons a redemption arc and it felt off. Hawk gets a redemption arc, Tori gets a redemption arc, Robby gets a redemption arc, even Kreese has a mild one at the end. There are no antagonists because the antagonist is the idea that cobra Kai ruining kids, but there is not really a tangible physical thing that represents this. The protagonist is also very awkward. The protagonist has always been Johnny. Johnny was the one we followed as the show goes on and then season 4 decides to not give him much screen time. And instead of replacing him, they just give equal amounts of screen time to everyone. Because everyone has a redemption arc they have to give screen time to everyone except for the two people who pushed the show forward, Johnny and Miguel.

My favorite has been season 3. I just loved seeing both Miguel and Johnny get back up together. The redemption of Hawk, the brutality of Kobra Kai being teached by Kreese, and that final fight in the Dojo against the 3 sensei is just IN CREdible to watch.

Season 1 - I doubt they ever top it was so reminiscent of the original Karate Kid with the perfect nuance. I love the focus it had on Miguel and Johnny Season 4 - Love the character focus and development Season 2 - was really good and had the best ending (school fight) but half the season was just training Season 3 - had some of the best moments but all of the Kreese flashbacks and where they were placed towards the end kinda ruined this season for me. The house fight was cheesy too

Perfectly echoed my sentiments. S3 is easily the worst IMO. Was starting to start into more of a soap opera and had way too many boring and cartoonish moments. I was honestly worried S4 would carry on this trend but it was the best season after S1, which was near perfect other than the season finale for me. And yeah S2 had the best fight (and that whole episode for me was one of the best I've ever seen).

Perfect analysis of all the seasons! As a Gen X’er, I feel like this series is a fantastic follow up to the 3 films and gives context to the strong connection/similarities that Johnny and Daniel have. Just when you think they’re going to be BFF’s, something happens to tear them apart again. Oh and William Zabka is hilarious as Johnny. Brilliantly hilarious. Best to not so best (there is no worst) 1, 4, 3, 2

Agree 75% with your choices. For me, Season 3 just edges over Season 4, mainly because I loved everything about the Vietnam flashbacks and Kreese / Silver / Cobra Kai origin story PLUS the episodes in Japan / Okinawa with Kumiko, Chozen and Miyagi's letters. The experience of watching Season 1 for the first time, I think, will always be unbeatable for Karate Kid fans. Like many people I thought they were going to ruin everything like Star Wars, and to see it play out so great was... just perfect.

Season 3 is by far the worst. The final house fight is so repetitive of the school fight. Hawk turned good too quickly, Miguel healed and fought too fast, Robby had nothing to do, Kreese flashbacks were cool but a waste of time, etc.

Your first expectations of season 1 is exactly why I didn’t even bother to check out it out initially. Then right before season 2 was about to come out, my friend got KZfaq red and binged it and I finally caved. I can’t believe I didn’t watch it sooner. Rewatched the first movie so many times.

To be clear I love every season 4. S4 - I need to let it sit with me a bit more but what I felt like S4 was missing was those super heartfelt and emotional moments. The other seasons had more of those and I still had an awesome time watching it, but it’s my least favorite as of now. I’ve gotta say though I loved Tory and Robby way more than I did in season 3. 3. S1 - This was an awesome start to the show but again here, the emotional moments were present but less present than the other 2 seasons. Also turning Miguel into a less likable character by then end was something I didn’t care for as I really liked him and I didn’t love what they did with him by the end. Overall still awesome start and I love the show. 2. S3 - Season 3 had those emotional moments I loved and seeing how every character grows was something I loved. The aftermath of S2 was awesome and Dimitri is just the best. The ending was really satisfying and the journey to Okinawa was one of my favorite parts. What I really loved though was Johnny and Miguel working together and Johnny trying to build him back up. I really loved this season 1. S2 - This season has the most emotional moments, the ending is gut wrenching, every character was great here and it just brought me everything I wanted. When I think of the peak of Cobra Kai, I think of that finale of S2 and honestly, season 2 in general.

@@LN-Lifer I thought Robby had a great arc here but it’s not in the emotional level of other stuff the show brought. I still loved S4 and I kinda felt the same way about S3 I feel about S4 right now so I think it just needs some time. I can see myself appreciating it more when I rewatch it for S5.

My ranking: 1. season 1 (great start overall, great continuation of karate kid, loving johnny and miguel relationship) 2. Season 3 (nice story arcs, really appreciated the originals, love flashbacks) 3. Season 4 (bit of lazy writing, some stories didnt go anywhere, felt like more could've been added, but left for s5) 4. Season 2 (it was going tooo cartoonish, every minute theres a brawl)

My ranking: 4th: Season 2. Still a really enjoyable season with in my opinion the best finale. I just wish some of the early plot lines were a little more interesting 3rd: Season 3, Loved seeing Miguel have to recover from his injury and seeing other familiar faces, such as Ally, but honestly, this season has some pretty forgettable moments. 2nd: Season 4. A return to greatness. Loved how every character was dealing with something and you really didn’t know who to root for. I also felt like the episodes are more engaging. 1st: season 1. Great start with fun plot and characters. I binge watched this show when it first came out as I loved everything happening

I put s2 in no 1 or 2 and I was so shocked u put it in last place honestly I enjoyed s2 alot and the last fight I thought was the best fight out of all the seasons

I think season 4 is probably my favorite because I can’t recall a season I’ve seen where the finale culminated literally everything that was built up and payed it off incredibly.

Season 1 was by far the best. After that, the violence, the crimes, the fight scenes got way out of hand for high school kids. Have to agree with Sean on that because some of those scenes and antics was just way too much. No cops, no adults, no teachers ever around is a bit wild. The all out brawl in season 2 was outrageous. Entertaining but totally unrealistic. Low key one of the best characters is Stingray. Brings the necessary humor to the show to lighten it up. Also, admire how they finally have Robby realize all the actions that have taken place over the seasons have just been terrible choices. Huge growth for him. Loved that moment with him and Johnny at end of Season 4.

Lots of movies have that very same deal. Think about it, the very first karate kid, why did the mom just go to the police after her son was assaulted multiple times? Why didn’t the high school staff do anything to the students, particular the ones in Cobra Kai? Surely Okinawan authorities would have a problem with chosen blatantly beating a woman in public and trying to kill someone. I don’t even get me started on quite karate kid part three. It’s always been like this

Good ranking Sean! Mine would be 4th: Season Two 3rd: Season Three 2nd: Season One 1st: Season Four This is without rewatching, but I know for sure I like season two the least! All great season though. The huge fight at the school in season two was ridiculous! Also, the fight at the LaRusso's place in season three was way too crazy! The All Valley Tournament should end every season! I really like Tory's character!

My ranking: 1. Season 2 - the continuation of the character arcs was done hella well and The school fight was just elite. It felt new, refreshing, and I honestly hadn’t seen anything like it before 2. Season 4 - Real good, Terry silver was really good and Hawk, Miguel, Tory, and Robbie’s arcs had me really invested 3. Season 1 - Not much to be said. Just fantastic. Honestly it practically tied season 4 but I had to pick one 4. Season 3 - A really good season, Especially the House fight which was insane. But just not as well written and executed as seasons 1,2, & 4.

Why we love cobra kai Its heart,its arcs and its dyanamics It keeps getting better with every season Hawk told the story of an actual underdog that honestly is what cinema needed The final fight wasn't really predictable and you have to appreciate the way every character is portrayed. Sometimes it just feels like a live action anime

Season 1 will forever be hard to beat also since S4 was the second time we saw these characters in the All Valley Tournament it makes you realize something. It makes you realize that S1 to S4 was one year as the All Valley Tournament is a yearly event. The reasoning behind me putting S4 as number 2 is because the amount of character development and also the fact we got to see more fo Anthony LaRusso, Daniel's son. Believe we very well will see Anthony part of Miagi Do Karate. 1. S1 2. S4 3. S2 4. S3

I’ve got 4 and 1 swapped from your ranking, but all 4 seasons are extremely good and I totally understand ranking 1 at the top. Could just be recency bias on my end, so we’ll see as I rewatch season 4.

My List is 1. Season 4 - Everything was perfect. The buildup to All-Valley not knowing who's going to win Terry Silver returning and the tournament itself was leaps ahead of Season 1's. The Best Buildup and The Best Finale. 2. Season 1 - Main reason for this not being number 1 is honestly that Season 4 did everything better 3. Season 3 - My Main complaint with this season is that it's 90% of fallout from Season 2's fight there isn't really anything else going on 4. Season 2 - I agree with your points they didn't really build up to anything in this season and they were was too much going on they didn't have a massive thing to focus on and Kreese's betrayal was obvious to everyone..

Just finished Yellowstone, yellow jackets, dexter, the Witcher, and cobra Kai.. Cobra Kai had the best finally and the only one I’m excited to see the next season.

For me, it goes 3,4,1, and 2. Season 3 of y favorite due to seeing the Miguel and Johnny relationship again, and the stakes felt pretty high with stuff like the house fight (Not as good as the school fight but still my second favorite end of season fight) having moments like Hawks turn and team up with Demetri, Sam vs Tory Miguel learning how to kick to beat Kyler. And Johnny and Daniel vs. Kreese was awesome to see.

My Ranking: 4th: Season 3 - executed cleverly and interestingly like the rest of the show, just felt like the most filler of a season by the time it was done 3rd: Season 1 - fantastic start, amazing foundation, just a bit too much rehash at parts and seemed to set the stage for newer better things to come 2nd: Season 2 - a filler season done in the most fun and memorable way possible, thought this would always be my first place until… 1st: Season 4 - not even close. Every character done in the most emotional and powerful way possible. Every arch fills fulfilled and for a purpose and beautifully weaves past characters (Terry) into the developing narrative. If Carrie Underwood didn’t do the song for a chunk of the final fight, I would say this season is practically flawless ;) Wow! But honestly reading other comments and seeing almost every season at every spot just goes to show what a fantastic series this really is! This should be the template for all filmmakers to use when reviving old franchises.

The problems I had with season 4 was Daniel and Johnny splitting up Sams darker side ruined her season 3 character arc It felt like 3 season crammed into one with Daniel and Johnny teaming up then against each other then back together and Miguel leaving the tournament to me ruins season 3a finale Miguel and Sam don’t interact as much as I thought they would Anthony friends were stupid Still I loved the season 4 just wouldn’t say it’s a masterpiece but it had many great moments and decisions. My personal order from least favourite to favourite goes Season 2 Season 4 Season 1 Season 3

I liked season 2 the most because there is only 1 bad person in it but when everyone is still arguing. which just creates extra drama and it remains interesting

I might have to rewatch the earlier seasons and I still have two episodes left in season 4 but so far I rank them 1.season 4, it’s been really good so far. 2. Season 2, I liked how they escalated the stakes of the last season and the huge fight at the end but it still felt somewhat realistic. 3. Season 1. Just great first season 4 season 3. Personally I thought it was fine but at times felt very unrealistic, like when they broke into the laruso’s house or how Miguel fought so welll

No one gonna mention how season 4 really showed how Hawk has had the greatest arc in the show? In season 3 when he helped Dimitri, that was like Vader throwing the Emperor over the balcony for me lol. And then season 4 makes it even more satisfying.

my ranking of Cobra Kai seasons 1# Season 4 (Terry carries the season and is my favourite in this one, The fights are bloody amazing but I really wanted Johnny and Sam to bond like Daniel and Miguel also hated Daniel's stubbornness) 2# Season 1 (was great to see such an old movie with great characters to come back, nice start to a series, specially as it was developed by KZfaq then) 3# Season 3 (it was good, had some really sad moments) 4# Season 2 (Isn't very emotional and has weird humour, but the ending was a huge cliff-hanger)

1st: season 2- it was the darkest season so far 2nd: season 3- it had some of the best fights, such as Daniel and Johnny teaming up to fight Kreese and also Hawk beating up Brucks 3rd: season 1: introduced to us some of the best characters 4th: season 4- it had the best story arc and character developments
