This is very helpful thanks, but there are still some things that you've missed which are: ornate dagger (can be collected after you kill the vampire in Saint Denis which involves inspecting 5 secret messages along walls in the town and then wait until midnight to go and interact and kill the vampire in one of the alleyways and collect the dagger). You also forgot about the emerald that you can collect from Margaret after killing the lion and visiting her; and you forgot about the rare ammolite and fluorite gemstones which can be found in an eagle's nest in the Grizzlies East (I'm not going to explain how to get them cuz there are other KZfaqrs that have uploaded videos about it so you can just search it up). You forgot to mention the second meteorite that can be found in the centre of a huge crater just east of the meteor house. You forgot about the male and female fertility statues which you can find the female one in a loot box outside of an abandoned house just North of Van Horn Trading Post called Roadside Brothel, and the male one can be found inside the chimney of an abandoned house just South of the Macfarlane's Ranch if you follow the road South (the male one can only be found when you reach the epilogue since it's located in New Austin). You forgot about the wild man's journal that can be collected from the feral man who can be found in the Roanoke area, and by following him to his cave and killing his wolves and himself (this will give you some bad honour points); and then look around the cave to collect his journal. You've also forgot about the ancient necklace which can be found in an abandoned house called 'scratching post' in New Austin (and again this can only be found when you've reached the epilogue). You forgot about the shrunken head that can be found in one of the small shacks in Lakay which can be collected by shooting a small vase or pot and then the shrunken head should pop out. (Feel free to reply on any other unique items that I've forgot to mention).

Trains female stage coach passengers, ya can also antagonise "wealthy" females on the street in towns until they start to runaway then "herd" them into a an out of the way spot...then ya can tackle, rob and beat them. Kinda fucked up thing to do but it works for farming earrings.

Female train passengers. Hit only the women on trains. Soon as you shoot at all, you get shot, or red circle pops up jump from the train and run to avoid bounty. After about 5 successful train jobs you should have a set of gold and silver ones, where I got mine. Note tho I have hit about 24 trains and only have 2 gold and 2 silver earrings, sold 1 pair of each initially before I knew. So they are kind of rare drop rate. Just like the gold jointed bracelets or the Native American Rings, I only have one of them.

@@pheckeht if you stop the train on a high bridge or in a mountain tunnel, you can safely shoot everyone on board and never become wanted. Works wonderfully if you want to get everything.

Around 10:09 where you get the mask there's a weird shrunken head item you can get. It's pretty hidden, you have to shoot a weird looking jar and it will pop out. When I found it, it blew my mind how hidden it was. After seeing how the Viking comb was hidden in the same way, I've been shooting everything looking for hidden items.

@@beerpongxboxbro I believe that with the people you kill and don't loot, their drops and/or bodies stay around where you killed them and rot away so to speak. try goin back to the location. it's not confirmed but I have a feeling cause Micah's body with weapon can be looted after you've finished the game.

Reduces heat damage? What? You mean being overheated. Heat damage would mean you take damage directly from ANY heat source, the sun, camp fires, any fire, lanterns, hell even the heat from firing your guns. I don't know if I believe the meteorite is anything else but a item to sell for cash.

Nice that you put the Arabian location near the beginning. I was able to break it after about 5 tries and then rode around collecting everything in order to bond with it. Also there was a bunch of 3 star fish fell from the waterfall near the Nevada hat

The Ancient Tomahawk is by far the most IMPORTANT weapon in the game. You’re gonna need it to complete the weapons expert challenge with ease.

Not necessarily. If you get rid of all but 1 regular tomahawk then you won't accidentally switch to a different tomahawk. I was able to complete the challenges, but the ancient one does make it easier as after you throw it you can easily find it on the mini map.

You can also get an electical lamp instead of your kerosene one. You can get it from that laboratory up in north roanoke ridge after you've finished all missions with that scientist.

1:17 I found that cave by chance while I was passing through this mountain nearby, on the top there was a big stone in the shape of a pillar, so I climbed to investigate further and I found this arrow drawn on it with blood I think so I followed the direction of the arrow and found this mine.

Interestingly, I found two of the gold ring sheep with a pink bow. One was where you said, but the other was at Cynthrie Farm (location: just south of Heartland Overflow, the same farm with the scarecrow hat). This sheep was already dead in one of the small livestock sheds. There was also a dead man with his pants halfway down right behind the sheep...I'm thinking there was a failed relationship here...

Gold Earrings don't always spawn at Watson's. It will sometimes be a ring or Silver Necklace. Jewelry items are RNG. You can loot Gold Earrings off of any female NPC but it's quite rare. As is the Silver Chain Bracelet or the Gold Jointed Bracelet. The Hatchets respawn in their stumps over time so you can retrieve them if lost. The Arrowhead is not the only non-craftable perk giving item. In Archaeology for Beginners you need to complete the mission without being detected or harming any one to receive the Owl Trinket. Lion's Paw is a Trinket not Talisman. You missed the Saint Denis Vampire that drops a unique knife. Also the Aberdeen Pig Farm lady drops some rare jewelry items for crafting Talismans, worth noting.

no mention of pearson's unique scout jacket for giving him his camp request of a rabbit carcass... or dutch's item request of a pipe, and him rewarding you with unique spurs? Or uncle's request (epilogue not before) for multiple items, (mostly easy to get, including a skunk) that gives you a full set of unique clothes (including uncle's hat) Both these two "side quests" are missable, and hard to trigger as they're one of the "dynamic" fetch quests, and as far as i've tried / read online the pearson's request is only available during chapter 2, while dutch's request can be done between chapter 2 - 4 , although I can only confirm that I got mine to trigger during chapter 3

If you guys are interested, you can also find john’s gambler hat that he wears during the story and in epilogue 1. All you have to do is in epilogue 1 when John is wearing his gambler hat, go do something to get the hat knocked off like getting in a fist fight and then you’ll be able to pick it up and keep it

Missed one: dont forget you can loot a machete from the Night Folk. I got mine from the creepy stranger mission were you clear them out of the swamp but its likely you can loot one by setting off any of their several ambushes.

When you're picking up the Wide-Blade Knife, don't forget to pick up a gold nugget near the dead body. Just slowly walk around the corpse and you'll see an option to pick it up.

Thank you heaps for the video I could imagine the hours it took to find these items, I can't wait to tackle this misson. A possible improve for future videos would be a title on the top of the screen for each item. Ie pig mask than show location and getting the item whilst the title is in the top of the screen. Other than that awesome video thank you so much.

Also found out that at least with the Grainger revolver if you try to be nice and shot the knife out of his hand during the duel instead of kill him he will attack you and not drop the gun. Don't know about the other two since I just killed them after this.

This did help me a lot but u did miss an item (the cat eye trinket) if you go on the map to braithwaite manor and you go left there is a small island where you can find the trinket in a lock box on the west side, there you will find the cat eye trinket which is available between chapter 2 and chapter 3 (your welcome I guess) 👌🏻

Great video BTW thanks for the help finding eveything. I'm currently 100% the game and finishing all side quests I saved for the end and getting all hidden collectables and weapons. Even with its gameplay issues I think it's rockstars finest work yet, shame it came at such a cost but non the less a masterpiece of open world design

There is a way for Arthur to acquire the items south of Blackwater by using the chapter 4 glitch. Early in chapter 4 there will be a mission requiring you to go into a graveyard, eventually to escape the graveyard without being seen by the police. (I forgot the name of the mission) To get Arthur into Blackwater and all areas past there - including the acquisition of Otis Miller's gun - simply repeat that mission with one tiny alteration... Get seen and get chased by those police officers. While you are being chased, take off and head to the bridge that crosses the river and leads directly into Blackwater. There is also a KZfaq video on how to do this.

Also, it actually is possible to get to NA as Arthur doing a glitch. You need to do a mission in chapter 4, get the police in you while you’re in the cemetery and then for some weird reason when you complete the mission you’re allowed to enter NA, it’s weird tho since theirs actually interact-able things as Arthur (like dialogue that’s exclusive to Arthur with NPC’s and different drawings than those of John in his journal)

After you kill the Pig Farner (Slim Calloway Mission) you can go back and later and another guy will be living there, he is wearing a special hat called the Cowboy hat I believe. Also in Valentine there is a Trapper in the Saloon across from the Bank wearing pelts and a Racoon Hat, if he is standing at the bar (first time I didnt see him in a chair) talking about how weak people are, antagonize him and he will attack you. First punch sent his Racoon hst to the floor, be careful he is the tough, really tough, and can box. After he is knocked out the bar cleared and I grabbed his hat, no one alerted the law

Go back to his ranch near the train tracks and the guy living there will have the Cowboy hat. I have stolen 28 hats so far, from what I know there are 33 or 35

Same here! The Sheriff wears one, and if you go to your family Ranch at Beecher's Hope (As John) Uncle, Jack, and Abigail will say you look like a Lawman or a Marshal. It's amazing on how much detail was put into the game!
