The 2 Haka's with silence for the all blacks followed by the Try. The only try scored against the all Blacks during the 2008 trip to the northern Hemesphire.

Nearly 14 years later and still get goosebumps watching this. Before the match I was definitely worried NZ would rip Munster apart. But this was an absolute declaration of war and we got a cracking game of rugby. Munster might be struggling for form at the minute but the recent defeat of the 'Boks in Cork shows that the Munster brand of being giant slayers has never gone away.

Just something I noticed - when Munster's NZ contingent break off to do the haka, the whole Munster squad (apparently instinctively) takes a couple of steps forward as well, staying tight behind them. A very "we're here with you" sort of moment that I really love about this sport

I'm Irish by birth, but I'm Munster by the grace of God :) lol Best game of rugby I've seen from an Irish team vs a Southern Hemisphere team when it happened. And this was a 2nd or 3rd string Munster team, as our Irish international players couldn't play as they had represented Ireland vs New Zealand a few days before. There was no Ronan O'Gara in the Munster team that played this game.

The mutual respect between the greatest country ever to pick up the oval ball and one of the proudest club sides ever to play the game is here for all to see. Thomond Park shows this respect to whoever the opposing team may be, but on this day in particular the respect given not just to the All Black team we faced, but to the history of New Zealand Rugby, made me very proud to be a Munster supporter. It was a privilege to watch the All Blacks...and we came very close to beating them !

Loving this clip... The Haka was made out of mans Fear of Death or being caught while hiding. It basically signals before I die "This is what I have to say" This is the way the AB's roll, when the few step forward to Haka it had neutralized something for Munster. When Munster did the Haka the AB's were in fear of the few, they were loose in there approach to much moment to high in there there stance. The Kaia (Leader of the Haka) didn't ready the team.. The Leader of the AB's Haka was only focused on the middle of Munster wall of red Jerseys not the side's a sign of weakness. Best tips for responding to the Haka, Stand together bind tight, maintain eye contact this so important.. don't move, don't spit, keep your heads still and focus while maintaining eye contact and the most important thing never smile this will bring you to your end. AB's are looking for weaknesses. A few kiwis stepped forward to do the Haka this was enough to unsettle the AB's they saw the Heart. I'm a Kiwi and I love AB's and the Kiwi's but I enjoy watching the little guy stepping it up. Loving the Irish great people they love to laugh and I like to blow shit up. I know this is a Scottish reference but it was a Brave Heart moment. As we say in New Zealand, Ireland you have lot of apple boi. Go the Irish!
