Sir Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak arrived in Parliament to give their first speeches in their new roles following the election.
They were joined by the leaders of other parties, including Reform's Nigel Farage and the Liberal Democrats' Sir Ed Davey as Sky's Sam Coates reports.

66% voting for someone and or something else. he has no real mandate and that is a fact which is probably good because he won without committing to anything...... sums up how stupid we British are. But just after two days though we know know there is no money to make changes so they will spend the state pension funds, they will not stop illegal migrants, they will not be imprisoning criminals as much as before and they will be looking to raise taxes. Si I guess The Tories were correct and the BBC decided to cover it all up. The 34% have spoken..... there is something really wrong with our democracy and or voting system. At least the Muslim vote failed - they tried it and failed so we should be ready next time.

The whole world is suffering after the Covid pandemic. We have to understand the global situation. No one can blame their governments. Most people are used to blaming their politicians for the problems of the country. Everything is GLOBAL these days. Most people in very poor countries go in search of jobs to earn their living. Most are employed in the Middle East . Governments can’t provide jobs. In the UK it’s power between the two major parties. Tories and Labour. I think everyone is responsible for their lives. In the present economic climate, governments can’t be blamed for all the ills of society. Now itself the blame game has begun in the UNITED KINGDOM. In the USA,Canada etc thousands of people are moving out to Mexico. They are making changes to their lives.

Oxbridge, Harvard, Manchester and Edinburgh Uni's apart ftom Rayner who was on benefits after getting up the duff at sixteen. There's no legitimate reason to have an MP per 78,000 population. Few of us ever go near them in an entire lifetime. Those of us that have can relay it's a complete and utter waste of time.
