idk who their coach is but major kudos to you, have some very talented girls on that floor. that captain showed why she is captain of that team and she came through all the way and put her heart out on that floor. other team wanted to act a fool my girl went plum psychotic and served. it was a call out round and she took it too the streets. I'm sorry she got called out and she went in. that death drop was a symbol of anything else she threw out was dead.

Semaya gave me life...I love watching stand battles but the other team from Washington didn’t get the memo..Down south we battle we don’t do none of those tricks and flips (leave that to your field show) but down here we mean business..Whether the band battling the percussion danceline flagteam etc come hard or go home. But MCK ya handled ya business I enjoy watching ya girls.

Semeyaaaaa girll THAT is how you battle. close enough to show no fear but she didnt touch her. hit every count with crazy sass and ended gracefully. not doing too much just enough. listen you dont know how intense head to head battles are until you been a captain facing off against someone just as skilled as you. the leg is cute but if ALL the girls did a leg it would look better. Semeya came to slay and you saw it all in her face. Eastern need to try cheerleading with all them flips. still a great battle.

Another thing , pantherettes must've hit a never with the lady gems because they wouldn't even let them dance , even though they called out the pantherettes right before . How you call a team out but get mad when they come for you lol. They also need to keep them tired Golden Delight antics and stunts . Pantherettes came to dance point blank. Great Job to all the young ladies , but you can't come to Baton Rouge and not expect a battle lol

Wait, you said The Pantherettes came to "Dance" but when it was time for the squads to do a Dance FEATURE...... Pantherettes only did stand counts while EHS did a REAL feature.

Ryan Wheeler please re-read. "Wouldn't even let them dance" meaning Gems wouldn't even let Pantherettes dance while their own band was playing without starting shit ( doing flips leg extensions etc ) . I understand it's a battle , I'm well aware, but like I stated before , don't come for a team and not expect them to come for you. Point blank. I'm not here for an argument with anyone. Let my opinion be my opinion lol, it's not that serious .

I went to Southern coming from a Memphis high school and majorette squad.. then to make it worst I was on a golf scholarship so I couldn’t even tryout for the dancing dolls!😩 so just know your videos are giving me life !! The Eastern Lady Gems showed how diverse in dance they are which is a major plus and Mckinley does a very good job with following under the Dancing Dolls from Southern dance wise but the way they acted didn't give me the class of a Southern Dancing Doll at all....

I like the P-rettes and know they were in battle mode, but this was out of character. That could have seriously started a fight. I want the poised and regal P-rettes back. This was kind of hard and rough for them. I understand they're evolving, but ladies calm it down just a little. You all are beautiful and could battle with looks alone. This entire clip made me nervous. I feel they should never let squads cross the center court line in a battle.

I think this is so cheesy and tactless for high school dancers. You do a call out by showing out with your dance moves not by getting all up in somebody's grill throwing counts. The adults ain't no damn better in this video.

The pantherettes are good there's no denying that, however these ladies the Eastern Gems (been knowing about them) are on and been on another level of dance not just SU doll reincarnates. In my opinion, their technique is much stronger, (comes natural) and they carry themselves like mature women. I understand it's all in good fun, love the pantherettes enthusiasm and confidence but it's a fine line between battling and trying too hard.

Just find videos of the Pantherettes prior to 2014 and see how hard they danced. The alumni Pantherettes were not ever in favor of being compared to the Dolls because that wasn't their dance of style. Now that the team has a dancing doll for a coach things have mixed in a little. The captain for 2015-216 danced hard and Jada has a soft touch to her. Do your research before you call them goofy looking.
