Eren’s initial founding scream, combined with the rumbling starting and the accompanying music were the first time in any show/movie where I felt legitimate fear watching tv. An experience I would never trade for anything 🤩

@@love0740 I think its a combination of the intense drive and hatred he had, and what Armin said, "In order to overcome monsters, you must throw away your humanity". in his first several fights, his drive came from his desire to protect his friends, to see all of the incredible things he heard about the outside world, to rid the world of the inhuman menace of the titans so that humanity could be free. But every fight he had to throw away another little piece of his humanity, he had to fight people who he thought were his friends when in reality they were trying to kill him for reasons he didn't understand, to him they were absolutely monstrous, heartless traitors, but to beat them he had to throw away his own heart. I think the biggest moment of this was when they made it to the ocean, he had become so jaded from everything he learned and everything he had to do to get there, that he lost his core dream to see the outside world. His original drive was to see all of the incredible wonders he saw in Armin's book, but in his efforts to get there, he lost sight of his dream, and crushed all of it under the feet of a titan army.

He was so disappointed when he saw that humanity had destroyed the rest of the world with their tyranny, greed, and racism. He realized that they were the true enemies. He wanted desperately to wipe the world away because of how cruel and hateful it was, But he also wanted to be stopped and wanted to find another way for his people to live. That's why he was begging Hanji to see if she found any other solution. He wanted someone to save him from himself so he wouldn't have to wipe away the rest of the world.

armin & co. didn't want mass genocide, only destroying Marley's allied forces would've been enough for stopping them from attacking paradis again for next 100 years or so. that's why they helped eren to start "limited" rumbling, but eren removed the limited part hence they switched up on him because Marley forces were destroyed anyway so they could at least stop the in their view an unnecessary genocide.

When the founding titan was shown when they marched on marley, it's different from netflix and pirated websites. I think netflix shows arents half body and face when the people stared at him. Pirated versions show the feet of eren but not clear and cannot see the face

I supported it at first until Captain Levi's words in the finale pt 2. "What would our fallen comrades think, if they knew the hearts they gave went towards crushing the lives of innocents underfoot?" 🥺 It was at that moment I realized that the rumbling was never any one human's decision to make and that despite all the suffering Eldian's endured... they had no right to make that call.
