In that case with Judge Wolfe, I don't feel one bit sorry for the hubby. Her house is paid off, he makes $1,250/month on disability & he can't afford tires for his truck? He's known for a long time she wanted him gone & he couldn't save up a few bucks to move while living in a free house? He either drinks expensive whiskey, or a lot of cheap whiskey. And to Derek who made the comment on live chat about whether a man can win in family court, most states split marital assets 50/50. If a guy comes in with nothing & builds up no assets during the marriage, he walks away with nothing. I had a husband like that, who thought sitting around on his a$$ for a few years & putting some money into my house entitled him to half of my property that my family & I payed off long before he came along. He ignored my offer of $40,000 (the increase in my home value) & an amicable divorce, got an attorney that cost him $5,000 of the $18,000 the judge awarded him. I'm sure he still thinks he got screwed by the court because he was a man & not because he tried to steal my family's hard earned investment & wanted more than twice the amount he actually spent on my house.
