I'm not a terribly sympathetic person and I'm cynical to a massive degree, but I honestly think that woman could be turned around with a good blunt speaking therapist that would sit her down and make her make a list of each and every one of her issues and tell her flat out what she needs to do about each of them to settle them once and for all and that she is an adult and needs to pull her shizz together. Her kid is 16, not 6. At 16, the daughter should be able to get a driver's license and make her own doctor's appointments, cook her own dinners, and not even bother with these two messy parents. If she is genuinely going away to college in probably what is less than 2 yrs from now, it will do her a world of good to start caring for herself and start becoming independent of both of them.

And this is part of the problem. A maximum sentence of 1 year for stalking. 1 year for violating a PPO. Stalkers are cray cray and unpredictable. That needs more severe consequences.

Arggggh - the burrito lady - says she hasn't got the info on the attorney, but then doesn't have a pen and paper to write it down. She's moved from the address she was recorded at, but hasn't told the court. Judge Webster is so patient - I'd be pulling my hair out.

Yup a Karen , anything to delay the court outcome of her crimes. She's playing games with the court system. I speak both languages and know people that speak less English and never have asked for an interpretation . Charge her for the court waste of funds for her BS . Fine her !!

I disagree with the Karen call here. A Karen would demand an interpreter and then get indignant and feign being insulted at the court's presumption that she needs one. And then go on to show her English wasn't good enough and that she actually needed one after all, yet still continue to refuse having one. This lady just made a sarcastic remark about the judge (in English mind you), and in her defence, is smart enough to realise that it's easier to accept the interpreter than to have to explain her poor behaviour to the judge.

Imagen if you will, using headphones or earbuds, so that you can hear what is going on regarding your court case. If only you cared about your case enough to make sure your equipment worked. I don't understand when a defendant gets an attitude with the court. It doesn't make sense to piss off the people who can put you in jail.

Mike the pause was bc the judge was making the interpreter repeat everything she said (to be smart I’m assuming ), except for that one time, so the girl was waiting to see if the interpreter was about to say what the judge said. Not bc she didn’t understand, I’m pretty sure it was bc every other time the judge cut her off to have the interpreter speak

Be happy while with the children,let the dad be as he is. The kids grow up and learn about him and I wanted my kids to love their dad and be pleased for the fun they they had with their father. Never fight over money. Kids learn to make a budget and see how to struggle and save as things come up. He made a lot of money as an engineer and worked retail and fast food. I got remarried and moved to Florida and the kids decided where to stay. This is when you as a mom just listen... She just wants you to know you are there for her. Kids always have problems. The age the daughter is just listen!!! They don't need to have you fix stuff she is old enough to let grow up and have responsibilities., make mistakes so she will learn as she becomes an adult!

I’m in the tech world and often encounter people that speak English conversationally, but struggle with technical terminology and need to use their native language. I suspect this can happen in the legal world, although I’m not sure if it happening here (I doubt it, I think she’s just a bit dumb, but I could be wrong).

But Judge Webster pulled this gangster move of calling in an interpreter because SURELY she didn't mean it that way.

Oh it's just an immigrant thing. Lol😂😂 I used to work with a lot of ladies that did not speak English as their first language (Asian languages, Russian language etc) When I asked them to perform a task they didn't want to do it was "no speak English". Yet as they were paid using a rather complicated piece rate percentage method it was actually amazing to watch the command of English they developed if their pay was a penny off or they needed something.,

My granddaughter turned 16 in February. She has graduated high school, has a driver's license, bought a car from babysitting at age 15, goes to college, has 5K in the bank that she earned on her own, has a job working 5 days a week and also has her own side business where she bakes desserts on demand. At age 16. My 17 yr old grandson has all of the above, minus the babysitting and baking, works at the local church as a handyman as needed, and owns 3 cars he bought on his own and has his own car repair business. Some of ya'll need to teach your kids how to get their s#it together.

Agreed, I raised 2 sons. They had curfew's had.To be in after school Activities.'s ,had to sit for dinner every night. They knew there are Consequences for any actions.They might do .Therefore, they always had the thought in the back of their minds,.Should I do this or not. One son married. Two daughters, county job owns home. The other single owns home works in the banking, industry. RULES begin at home. We teach our children to to become productive members of society that is our role as parents.

I am a 78-year-old disabled Vietnam Vet on a very restricted budget. Can't get out much, so videos such as yours are a main entertainment. Was a State of Florida LEO back in the '80's, but my main career until 11/08 was as an Environmental consultant on wetland and wildlife issues in North, Central, and South America, but now have trouble walking through the house.

Judge Cranky Pants is the best (We decided on OnTropolis to use "Judge" because "Referee" doesn't have the same ring to it!) in regard to referee Greg Fredrick. We have been married 37+ years, our son is almost 25 years old, honestly why do some of these people tie the knot? Marriage-Is-Hard-People!! You have to work at it every single day, people venture down the road of matrimony disillusioned and for many of them the wedding and photos they can share to social media are of prime importance, they are not prepared for what comes next!
