@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 yes all 3 where 3.l eccoboost. Full synthetic Mobil 1 oil for all of them. Never had 1 issue, also always changed at 5 thousand mile intervals.

Thanks, and yeah these are designed really well, especially the interior IMO. I’ll try do do a few more trim levels over time! I’ve never driven a power boost but I’ve driven a few of the other trim levels (although mostly before starting my channel), and they’re all very impressive. But a 0-60 comparison of these engines might be in the future like I’ve down with the Chevy’s! 😉

Yeah, they do look sharp! Both engines are quite stout. I think if I ever owned one and was not going to supercharge it, it would probably be a 3.5 because of the elevation and how a stock out one should out perform the 5.0. I should have included a video of a tuned 3.5 acceleration, it can knock its time down to the mid 4’s lol. 😲 Also, I think the total F series truck sales are in the low 30M range, I swear I had heard years ago that they already passed 40M. I must have confused that with how many years they’ve been the best selling vehicle. 🤷‍♂️ Anyways, thanks again for watching and adding your thoughts! 🙂

I think the XLT is the sweet spot! More manufacturers seem to keep pumping out more expensive and luxurious trim levels. Probably because their margins are higher with those extras. 🤷‍♂️😜

Trucks definitely have become way too expensive. But I agree, these 3.5 Ecoboosts always impress me with how efficient they are at putting the power to the wheels!

You also only need to hit lock once and then the start button twice on fob to remote start.

That isn't true. People are lining up to by trucks from every brand. Unreasonable dealer mark up is why people see full lots. The price alone will not stop folks from buying these trucks. There are plenty of folks who are willing to drop $50k and more. The last time I was on a dealer lot they tried to get me to finance a truck for 7 years. Yes you heard that right. Folks are paying interest for 7 years on a truck loan.

That’s a good observation! Sorry I wonder if that changed for the 24 model year mid generational refresh? Otherwise due to the performance and window sticker stating it’s a 3.5 I didn’t think twice. 🤷‍♂️🤪

I think of the 0-60 as a good gauge of how it puts the power down. Sports car acceleration and can haul almost anything you might need.

You’re absolutely right! This was bad and one of the worst videos I’ve made audio quality speaking. I had been started using a cheap aftermarket one that couldn’t accommodate the crazy wind this day, I now use a DJI with wind muff, literally 1,000% better lol. Unfortunately I still have a few older videos not yet public to post before the DJI upgrade came. 🤦‍♂️😅
