The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor It has a 3L Ecoboost V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission, 405 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. The Raptor has a full time 4x4 drive system, an electronically controlled on demand two speed transfer case, front and rear locking differentials, 2.5” FOX live valve shocks and a 360 degree camera with front, rear and mirror mounted side view cameras. Premium fuel is recommended.
The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor has a starting price of $80,140 CAD/$55,470 USD.
The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor styling is bold and confident with LED projector headlights, LED fog lamps, Ford lettering on the grille, front and rear tow hooks, LED taillights, 17” wheels, 33” all-terrain tires and a temporary spare tire.

Thank-you for acknowledging the Australian engineers who did the develop work on this Truck. So many reviews on this product and no one ever mention it. Ford closed its production facility down under in 2016, but has maintained its product development facilities and engineering capability to help Ford Motor Company produce great products like the Ranger and Ranger Raptor.

Last truck I had airborne was a 1999 Sonoma with a 4.3 in it. Wasn't expecting it as the 95 Jimmy I had at the time was quite gutless. Lots of fun though.

Make a passion product; one that is for the fanatics who want the ultimate in some dimension; this is what makes the Bronco Raptor, the Ranger Raptor and even the Maverick smash hits, because they fulfill a market very precisely and fully. Toyota definitely going through a crisis at the moment though you wouldn't know this by their sales figures especially Lexus G series. This being a pickup truck and not an SUV like the Lexus you're definitely getting a much more refined though surprisingly rugged vehicle in the GX. Hard to imagine taking any of these vehicles off road given current pricing but the Lexus will obviously be far better mannered on road whereas the Ford vastly superior off road. Good question tho absolutely.

Wow, nice looking truck, cross shopping with the Tacoma that back seat will matter. We can't justify the cost since our off-road needs aren't there, but that Raptor is awesomely capable. I wonder how your test drive of the offroad bned Taco's will compare. Thanks for another great video.

I'd love to have 430 lb/ft of torque. My GX460 is pushing 5800 lbs with lift and sliders and I've got 329 lb/ft of torque.

Drive it like a maniac it won’t hold up long for sure. I’ve seen some Raptors that are in terrible shape and only 2 years old, with like 40,000 km on them. Financed in Canada with all the boxes checks is $1496 over 72 months = $108,000 CDN…. Wow for a Ranger Raptor, that’s just insane. Even though I could pay cash for one…I wouldn’t even dream of paying that for a little truck.

You have a very good looking truck there and I would buy one in a heartbeat but but the transmission is the game killer you’ve been having horrible issues with that 10 speed transmission it’s an inferior transmission you had a lawsuit on it several several consumers complaining about that transmissionthat won’t go in gear that it slips and it slams in the gear not good that’s a game killer and dill killer

The elephant in the room is always that all the damned Ford Ranger, Nissan Navara, Toyota Hailux, Ww Amark and all the other small Pickups are that their cabins are not big enough and therefore the cars are WAY too expensive because they are simply useless as family cars. The cars cost the same as an SUV car and are also more expensive than SUV cars, but you only get half a car compared to the SUVs. There is simply too little legroom in the back seat and the cars are also too narrow. A man of 183cm cannot sit comfortably in the back seat of any of those pickups because there is NO LEG ROOM. So what the hell are we paying for when we can't have our 17 year old sons and daughters sitting in the back seat?? THE CABINS ARE TOO SMALL AND WE GET TOO LITTLE CARS FOR THE PRICES OF THE CARS. Why isn't anyone talking about the damn problem with the small cabins. No legroom equals the fact that the cars cannot be used for families with children aged 15. Too little legroom!!!!!

He is declaring fuel efficiency standards so high above Europe that the price on these trucks/suvs will sky-rocket. Forcing change for imagined fuel savings! So based on the current exchange rates 1 CAD = .7383 USD, Canadians are paying 57,549.47 USD so approximately 2 grand USD more. Not that much of a big deal. I would still get one.

@@gordmonteath6090 No I did not fail grade two math (arithmetic). 77,945 CDN Canadian is equivalent to 57, 396 American USD. Based on todays exchange rate. Canadians are paying 1,976 USD dollars more. So in order to do a dollar for dollar analysis we would convert Canadian to USD. $77,945 (price in Canadian dollars is equivalent to $57,396 USD) In America the cost is $55,470 and in Canada the cost is $57,396. So the difference is $1,926 USD. Looking at it another way, 55,476 converted to CDN is equal to 75,366. So at the end of the day I would pay the few bucks extra...

Great review, that Raptor is awesome but 90+% will never take it off road like that. As for pricing, good for what you are getting, a Lariat 4x4 with tow pkg, FX4, and 2.7 (at Bronco pricing) is only $4000 less. So then the Raptor is a bargain, and Ford is screwing all regular Ranger buyers. Ford Canada pricing screws regular Ranger buyers and double screws Raptor buyers. No one should pay MSRP for a reg Ranger as GM offers same features, more powerful engine standard, and 4A, rear seat vents, and ventilated seats, for same or less money.
