Join along as we get back rolling planting corn on the 2nd day. With multiple issues including a cylinder blow out and a mistake on reassemble, It's going to be a long night of planting as the rain is coming. With help from Isaah we get set up and get rolling intothe acres. How far will we make it? Thanks for watching along

Chris you are a hardworking man. I have a suggestion come up with a way to Mount a fresh water tank on your planter or the tractor so if you have plugged nozzles you don’t have to use your drinking water. I carry some dish washing liquid to wash my hands after working on oily jobs.

If you put all your planting gear such as fert seed and extra tools on your gooseneck. Park it central to the plot of fields you’re doing. Then plant that area. Move tractor to your truck then shift gooseneck to the next place and carry on. No need for rides and almost completely self contained. Pump fert with water pump. No extra money spent and more done. Unless crap hits fan and everything breaks 😅

In the 60’s my dad used to do contract fertiliser spreading in australia on an old open top international tractor with homemade fertiliser spreader on an old single axle truck frame and used to tow a dayton spider hub behind on a chain to mark where he had been and another system in australia is blob foam marker which leaves a blob of foam where you have been 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Worth getting a couple cheap brand hand sprayers to keep around when in the field for rinsing, washing, squirting and dog happy. There are some tractor fires that you really need a jet of water for too, in the long run. Two for maybe $25 I think is a good spare bit of kit.

Chris, You work and work and just keep rollin. Your attitude and the sheer will to just make things work are going to reward you hugely one day. If I ever win a the lotto, I'm buying you all brand spankin new green machines, I swear. I'm too old to live the dream at this point. I spent my entire career trading in the pits at The Chicago Board of Trade and CBOE. Every year I swore I was going to buy a farm here. I looked at 100 of them easily. Came real close to buying a 600 acre farm in Lexington, Ky. but got cold feet at the last minute. Luckily the farmer gave me my deposit back and was very understanding. I've had some form of regret about that ever since. Your drive is inspiring man. So remember if I win a huge Lotto, Duffy Ag is going to own all new Green machines and I'm paying for it. The chances of that are about 5 billion to 1 or whatever, but hey, it's the thought that counts. LOL Cheers from Chicago

Also, it is the evaporator on top of the cab. It is essential to keep the condenser and evaporator clean. Make sure the seal is good, and the filters stay clean. There are two styles of blowers. My 4640 was a 78 model and it did not blow enough air. I got a kit for a newer model and the air volume increased. Those blower motors get slower with age. New motors make a big difference. The condensed water should be going outside the cab. You have a drain. You are making a mud pie. The AC in a sound guard cab will keep you reasonably cool but you must keep it clean, no exceptions. The next thing is absolutely none of my business but I'm going to say it anyway, Try to throttle back mentally and you will get more done. Finally, you get one opportunity in a new community for people to like you and want to deal with you. From watching you, I see signs that your intensity could use up that valuable capital. Ask me how I know.

What you have is a kelderman folding toolbar what you're talking is is not a flow control valve it's actually the shut-off valve for locking off that outside ring lift tire usually there's a chain hanging down from the mounting bracket for the raw unit that goes around the bracket that goes down to the wheel that says from the shut off valve letting fluid go by I'm settling down over winter

For next year, I think you should make use of the 3ph on the planting tractor to carry extra seed to the field with you. I would also suggest a bike mount on the planter tongue so you can take the electric bike with you when you move between farms. A hobby farm is by definition any farm that can't support itself and family members have work off farm to be able pay thier bills. Size has nothing to do with it. @Otherrandomguy42 14 күн бұрын
@@stinkydog5935yes he does because he bought a farm with no ability to make the payments on itself. 😂😂. Pretty hard for these days for a first-generation farmer whether they Farm 3 acres or 3,000 to be anything but a hobby farm. Given the price of the most commodities in agriculture and the price of a farm good luck paying for it unless you have a big chunk of change when you go to buy it. He did not. On the other hand there is niche specialty markets he could get into and stay home and not go trucking but he's probably not going to choose to do that. For example if he had an organic cert and raised organic produce and meats and sold direct to consumer at high prices. But if he'd sooner go trucking be around the guys he gets to be around because he gets to do that that's his choice. Personally I'd sooner do it like Pete Larson at Just a few acres Farm ( he's on KZfaq and worth watching ) but I'm not Chris and it's not my decision. But trying to say it's a hobby Farm just because of the size of it was what the implication was is just stupid. 😂😂
