All of 2b2t spawn 20k by 20k. 1000 chunk render distance!

Correction: minor mistake in text: meant 20k not 10k.
Also: 8 chunks might not be the limit on 2b2t with some saying it goes to 12 chunks. - not the biggest difference but still a possible mistake from my side.

It's interesting how the Rusher War Lava Curtain "encased" the destruction within 500 blocks from 0,0. Going from a literal void of air and cobblestone to only a few lavacasts and even some grass. From what I've gathered nowadays the Area inside the Lava Curtain was flooded and all cobblestone removed, this plus the pandemic introducing new people and allowing old players to spend more time in the server made the destruction spread further into the 2000s range as of today.

I haven't used 8 chunks render distance other than playing on a cellphone years ago lol, its jarring to see 8 chunks in general, let alone next to distant horizons. I'm absolutely loving these LOD mods extending our view further than anything weve seen in Minecraft or Morrowind. They've become absolutely essential in my modlist

Server render dist on 2b is 4. The chunk you are in, and 4 chunks in each direction, totalling to 9x9 chunks Additionally there is 1 more layer of lazy chunks around you that you can render with the right client

On small SMP servers the spawn is like 100x100 and on bigger servers it could be 1k x 1k, but it's crazy to say that 2b2t is like 20k x 20k worth of simply just spawn.

Could this be used for base hunting or do you have to manually enter and load all of those chunks? good video btw

When you move out of a region, the chunks unload. Cannot be used for base hunting for 2 reasons: 1. Before the map was available to the public, the creators ran a program to locate stashes and bases and went to them on real 2b2t + this map is 4 years old 2. 2b2t render distance is capped at around 12 chunks, so you won't be able to see further than that

I manually explored all chunks for this world, normally it does it automatically but for some reason it gave me errors when trying.

Best way is to google the name: 2b2t But it is a anarchy server where hacking is allowed. - no rules + it is really old and has a lot of history behind it.
