Keep in mind that I was the only person working there with a food handlers license, none of the chefs nor any of the other employees there had one.

That Google Maps one reminds me of an issue I had with it a while back. I'm a relatively inexperienced driver and get nervous about getting lost, so I tend to use Google Maps sometimes even though I know most of a route just to make sure I don't forget a turn or something. I would still want to take the route I'm used to, since I do know most of it and have an idea of what to expect, but Maps helps just to make sure I don't miss a turn or things like that. So very fun time for me when I'm on the interstate, focused on driving, and Google Maps finds a faster route for me that takes a completely different way than I'm used to in order to save like 2-3 minutes of driving. As someone who works for a service where tips are relied upon rather heavily (DoorDash), I can say-without hesitation-that tips are a blessing. I applaud anyone who does tip, because it only helps my bottom line in the end. I also tip as much as I can when I order out, knowing full well what those drivers and employees go through. With that said, however, Papa John's does NOT pay their people anywhere near what they fucking deserve. I used to work for them, and they make you bend over goddamn backwards just to get your paychecks sorted. I was almost always shorted at least five hours per check, EVERY check, for six months. It was bullshit, and I finally had to threaten them with a lawsuit. All this aside, I agree that you SHOULD tip your driver.
