Here some things I've learned 06-11 crown Victoria you can program keyless entry by programming it using forscan (06-07 need to add the c pillar antenna) if you want to classy up the interior you can throw Lincoln Town car leather cover over your original crown Victoria seats. Also the rear seats fit! If you want a semi digital instrument cluster you can swap in a grand Marquis cluster or town car you just have to add 3 wires. That way you can see the mph it will be digtal mpg, miles until Empty, see how your driving affects mpgs and more (05+ only) also If you want power driver's seats you just have to find a power seat and door panel that has buttons they are prewired for power seats (driver side only) passenger side can be added with a bit of wiring.

If you want a secure idle (let's you take out the key and have the car keeping running) they are plug and play same thing with the tremco (can't shift out of park without press the air pedal) you can add adjustable pedal very easily buy swapping over a set of pedal that have the motor 8 screws and 2 plugs. (Also swap the trim with the button)

Great information. My solid black 2010 was probably a swat or detective issue because it still had the new car smell and not one blemish inside or out, but it has every feature you pointed out on this video.

I just bought a K-9 unit with 68k on it and 4K idle hours and it surprisingly has the new car smell too... I did find a tick crawling on the dash on the way home though...

Ive had my p71 for 10 months now and still learning stuff. Didnt know low jack was still in it and original siren and flashers. No idea how to operate it but still cool

My MGM 06' had the same issue with the filler neck, I ordered an after market one from Amazon, it was around 75 bucks if I remember correctly, not terribly expensive. I delt with it, until it threw a code and the CEL came on.

Saw the K9 cage in one of those clips. Same cage my 2010 came with! Also, about the towing part. We used one of my '10s to tow a 96 Corolla with a dolly for 1,000 miles straight. And then an 84 Celica Supra with a dolly for another 1,000 miles straight. Also, for anyone who is wondering about the interior panel with the Traction Control and Pedal Adjustments. If the car does not have the switches install already, it is most likely because the car was not ordered with those features, so the hardware isnt there either. Meaning, adding switches wont do anything because it doesn't actually have the hardware for it. The cars just came pre-wired to make the installation of those features easier.

2008 pedal and traction controls trick did not work. I had the cables bought the panel but neither worked.

I have a 2008 MGM without out the power pedals . Can I add them buying the part & just buy the dash panel piece for the switch ?

Maybe. Most of the time, if the switch isnt there from factory, it wasnt ordered with that feature. The adjustable pedals are different than the models without adjustable pedals. The cars are prewired for all that stuff to help with cost and so its easier to install the hardware if one was to opt in for that feature.

I love Crown Victoria’s with a passion if I could show mine on here you’ll be like wow with what I’ve done to it but from my personal experience please don’t try to put the traction control button on if your car didn’t come with it as with me I hooked it up but as soon as I hooked it up my car did not wanna get outta park and it broke a fuse that was related to the getting outta park thing

IF Y’ALL ARE IN A MARKET FOR A TRACTION CONTROL SWICH FOR YOUR CVPI SAVE YOUR MONEY IT WONT WORK. YOU NEED A DIFFERENT ABS MODULE AND THE CARS COMPUTER NEEDS TO BE PROGRAMMED FOR TRACTION CONTROL

Apparently the pedal adjuster has a plastic gear so it's not uncommon for it to wear out/break. Or maybe I'm just unlucky.

Cool vid. I can't find that stupid dome light thing these other Vic owners post videos about. I saw that if I got rid of it then my dome would come on with the front doors instead of just the back. Anyway, my Vic still has the front pushbar mounting bracket. I would give it away to anyone that wants it.

@@ronniethompson1942 Mine has push bar, so far only thing missing is the radio. Police radio I think it was center on the console and the PA mic was used both for the radio. Since the radio is gone the PA just clicks but no audio. that's my projet to get that to work as independent function and put my own legal radio in it. I am stumped where the coax is at? I see the roof antennas but cannot find loose coax cables. I only had this 2 days so still learning great channel.

Hold the reset button. While holding it with the key in the off position, turn the key to the on position while still holding the reset button. Once your gauges go all the way up in "test" mode, let off of the button. Then press the button and cycle through all the options until you get to "E 0.0"

@@tendomanoka4082 you can do it with the key off, then to key on. And then when you're in test mode, you can start the car and it'll stay in test mode.

@@tendomanoka4082 Either restart the car, or hold the reset button until it goes out. If you're looking at your digital speed one though while holding it, it'll go to KM/H.

Yeah they unplug the horn to hook the siren instead in the front

Under your passenger side dash there should be 2 purple or bluish wires with connectors that were probably connected to some other wiring under there. Unplug them from the other wires and plug or splice them together. Bam! You should have a horn.

What @Randomizer said. This was done in my 2006. But I also found out that after re-connection these two blue wires, the Horn Relay was dead. So I had to connect the blue wires and get a new relay

So much of what he says is WRONG. Cabin filter? No, that's just a screen for the A/C fresh air intake. Keeps leaves out. No filter in there. Fuel shut off is not unique to the Crown Victoria or even the Panther body. A LOT of Ford vehicles were equipped with this safety feature.
