ഒരു no entry board പോലും വെക്കാത്ത റോഡിൽ കയറിയതിന് ഒരു പോലീസുകാരൻ എനിക്ക് പെറ്റി അടിച്ചു തന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇത് one way ആണെന്ന് എങ്ങനെ അറിയാം എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ അതൊക്കെ അറിയാനാണ് നിനക്ക് ലൈസൻസ് തന്നിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്നാണ് അയാൾ പറഞ്ഞത്. എൻഎച്ച് നിന്നുള്ള ഇട റോഡ് ആയിരുന്നു അത്. ഇവിടെയുള്ള പോലീസുകാരും മോട്ടോർ വെഹിക്കിൾ ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ മാരും നിയമം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് സാധാരണക്കാരിൽ നിന്ന പിഴ ചുമത്താൻ ആണ് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്. അല്ലാതെ ആ നിയമം നടപ്പാക്കി. റോഡപകടങ്ങൾ കുറയ്ക്കാനുള്ള ഒരു താല്പര്യവും അവർക്കില്ല. രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരുടേയും പോലീസുകാരുടെയും വാഹനങ്ങൾ സകല റോഡ് നിയമങ്ങളും തെറ്റിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് റോഡിലൂടെ ചീറിപ്പായുന്നതും പാർക്ക് ചെയ്യുന്നതും. റോഡപകടങ്ങൾ കുറയ്ക്കാൻ ശമ്പളം വാങ്ങി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നവരേക്കാൾ ഒരുപാട് ആത്മാർഥതയോടെയാണ് താങ്കൾ ഈ വീഡിയോ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ 👏🏻👏🏻

ഇങ്ങിനെ ഒരു വീഡിയോ ഇട്ടതിനു വളരെ നന്ദി. രണ്ടു ദിവസം മുമ്പ് ഞാൻ M.C. റോഡിൽ യാത്ര ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ Zig-Zag line കാണാനിടയായി. ഇത് ആദ്യമായി കണ്ടതുകൊണ്ട് ആരോട് ചോദിക്കും എന്നു വിചാരിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ആണ് ഈ വീഡിയോകണ്ടത്. (Striped line കണ്ടപ്പോൾ two wheeler പാർക്കു ചെയ്യാനായിരിക്കും എന്നു പോലും ചിന്തിച്ചു.) പലതും പുതിയ അറിവുകൾ തന്നെ. വീഡിയോക്കായി വീണ്ടും നന്ദി പറയുന്നു.

I am going to be 60. Don't know driving. But have a good sence of road manners. Your explanation is highly appreciable and knowledge sharing. Many of these lines are new to me. When young I was a member of RSP (road safety petroll) in my school like GUIDE, which has helped me to develop road manners. Once a month safety class should be conducted by Safety Inspectors in every school starting 10, 11, 12 classes; so that when these children come out of school they will be fully aware of road safety. Children imitate their parents which can be fatel at times for self and others. Let our children handle our road safely and lead a healthy life. Thank you.👍🏼

It is high time we have written tests for issuance of license. Most of the people don't know the road rules, symbols and line markings and it is really frustrating to have blokes like them on the road. I'm unaware of many of these line markings and I see them predominantly on Kerala Roads, where I observe that roads are much narrower than in other South Indian states. This is a really wonderful video. Cheers

വളരെ ഉപകാരപ്രഥമായ അറിവാണ് പകർന്നു തന്നത്. ഇതിൽ എനിക്ക് കുറെയൊക്കെ മാത്രമേ അറിയുള്ളായിരുന്നു.. സ്കൂളുകളിലും ഡ്രൈവിംഗ് സ്കൂളിലും ഇതൊക്കെ അത്യാവശ്യമായി പഠിപ്പിക്കേണ്ട കാര്യമാണ്, റോഡ്, ഡ്രൈവിംഗ് നിയമങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞതിന് ശേഷമേ ലൈസൻസ് കൊടുക്കാൻ പാടുള്ളൂ... ഒരാളുടെ അറിവില്ലായ്മ ആണേൽ പോലും അത് സമൂഹത്തിന് വലിയ ആപത്താണ് ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്. നിയമപാലകരും മന്ത്രിമാരും സർക്കാർ വാഹനങ്ങളും നിർബന്ധമായി ഇതൊക്കെ പാലിച്ചു മറ്റുള്ളവർക്ക് മാതൃക ആകണം.

In Kenya & Tanzania, even primary class students are taught these road signs and as a result we can experience the difference there. Very Good video. It is high time we introduce HSE from our primary school level for a safer road experience.

Very good info. The markings are all same like in the UK. Everyone knows and follow these markings in the UK. Two books explaining road rules and usage for motor vehicles (all categories) road users including pedestrians and horse riders are available here and is a must to study for driving theory test. Please also make a video on common road signs in Kerala. I saw a national speed limit sign in your video. Most people may not be aware of such signs if it is not a part of theory test. 👍
