Yeah I thought this cast seemed really boring when it dropped and at least Plastique is destroying the runways! Only queen I was excited to see was Roxxxy and she’s being entertaining enough, but what’s she meant to do she can’t carry the season by herself (and her snatch game was really misguided, she should’ve learned that drag race references are rough in snatch game when she did Alaska in AS2).

What’s funny about Roxxxy as Tasha Salad, with how many times she’s brought this character out, you’d think she won that kiddie TV show challenge on Season 5. It’s kind of a Mandela Effect of the show (sorta like JuJuBee winning Snatch Game with her Eartha Kitt when she didn't), but it was her best friend DeTox who won that challenge with her chicken character. It’s BOX!!!

So the confusing thing about Jorgous's snatch game is they talked about John Leguizamo's portrayal of Chichi in To Wong Foo, but then her character was a completely different drag character John has done in his comedy specials, Manny the Fanny (she even uses a few jokes from that special). Like I get the gays in the crowd are probably gonna know him from that movie more, but if you're doing a completely different character it makes it confusing. At least bring up the fact he's done other drag characters before, and you're more inspired by those (maybe she did and they edited it out idk).

Mera making the joke of “let’s bring Tasha Salad back for a rusical” has immediately made me want a rusical about iconic characters/creations from drag race (potentially in a similar theme of the UK vs the world rusical about old musical stars that want to get back in the limelight) we could have everything from Tasha Salad to Ornacia, Little Pound Cake etc if they pull the right references it could have so much potential.

before the runway i really had angeria and nina as my top 2 for snatch game with mik as a close 3rd. however, mik's runway was SO CONCEPTUAL AND BRILLIANT AND THE BEST OF THE NIGHT BY FAR(IN MY OPINION). so, mik edged angeria and nabbed the top 2 placement

Lots of people are calling Drag Race Mexico 2, a season 2 of Only The Most (Solo Las Más) from La Más Draga, cuz there’s 5 girls from it out 13 girls. Luna Lansman Leexa Fox Elektra Vandergeld Eva Blunt Nina de la Fuente And fun fact about Evan Blunt, she was in a duo w Gala Varo. They were called Red Rabbit Duo and they both were on La Más Draga as a duo competing.

I was so disappointed when Roxxxy said she'd be doing Tasha Salad. She should have gone home for this in the Roast in AS2 (at least Coco and Jaremi were unintentionally funny in their skit) and she brings it again? It just felt like she wasn't trying and I have high expectations for her. For the makeover I have insane expectations for Plastique. I've seen her do a few transformations on other people and the result is crazy. Still think that one video when she did Bob is the most beautiful Bob has ever looked in drag. And then we have Roxxxy and Shannel who are so experienced. So I have high hopes for next week cause the Snatch Game was again a flop.

Idk based on the preview it looked like (to me at least) it was a team challenge. Maybe it’s becasue I was high but I swear every time they showed the queens and a firefighter there was another girl standing right next to them. Speaking as a huge Nina fan from Columbus. I think maybe going directly from Hairspray to All stars was a tough adjustment. She's almost only performed as one character the past two or three years. I think she needed more time to dust off her creativity and get back in that competitive headspace. She abd the West family are fantastic performers and creative power houses. But she hasn't been in traditional drag spaces for a few years now. I hope we see a turn around this season. ❤❤❤ Nina.

It's the double edged sword of non eliminations that dulls any drive these queens might have had to step on the gas pedal. Vanjie once again relied on "being Vanjie" with absolutely NO character whatsoever and really you could apply that to Jorgeous as well, at least she picked a character where "being Jorgeous" worked for that character better. Plastique should have ABSOLUTELY been raked over the coals for her non-Ali Wong, she really is all style no substance isn't she! Roxxxy likewise should have been taken to task for recycling a character for the third time. Particularly since she took away the one element it ever had going for it; it allowed her to show she was willing to forgo polish and beuty for the sake of a character/performance. Doing a poloshed Tasha Salad is like Max doing a Disney Sharon Needles, you're taking away the very thing that makes them unique. Also again, it's Tasha's third outing and it's AS9, I expect more effort out of you Ms. Andrews. Ironically Nina and Plastique had the same storyline these past two weeks; a challenge that highlights their strengths followed by a lip sync thst highlights their limitations. IDK, at this point it feels like Gottmik, Angeria, and somewhat Shannel are the only contestants not on autopilot at this point.

Gottmik definitely is improving on her lip sync skills cuz.... Mama her lip syncs were quite a choice, especially when she did a bounce split 💀 This recent lip sync, Gottmik was giving sex, diva, and face. Only thing is.... It's a Spanglish song that could've just been given to Jorgeous and Vanjie, but yeah it's a choice but kind of good.

IMO, Gottmik only won each of her lipsyncs by default. Last week, what Plastique was doing completely didn't match the song at all, and this week, Nina gave one of the most messy and chaotic lipsyncs of all time. Gottmik wasn't particularly good in either lipsync, but Ru had no choice but to give it to her each time lol.

Also, the tail of the comet forms when it's close to the Sun, but the planets were in the way and that got me even more confused. And, please, PLEASE, can we stop with the black holes? Gottmik was by far my favourite this episode. Slayed the snatch game, and served the very best runway while also only wearing a turquoise skirt and a ponytail.
