Amazing intro! You’re doing the man the bug the legend proud by getting the word out about this series. Right with you on loving the different arcs, and seeing him grow as a writer with bk 5 and beyond .

I love the legal pad for notes, very real and organic feel to the video. I've seen the love on Allen's discord, but haven't made a bump in my TBR. You have moved the needle!

Thank you!!! Eons ago, when TBB announced their Shadows of the Apt editions I looked into the series and decided to purchase them. Months went by and I’ve been accumulating them but not quite recalled why. Now I remember!! The series sounds amazing. Empire in Black & Gold is going onto my June TBR. Again, thank you!

Just started my re-read of Empire of Black & Gold. I'm trying to keep my series in progress as low as possible (tbf two of those series are re-reads, so loophole i guess) but i couldn't help myself 😅

lol actually my name is Harold. Of course. Children of time is radically different from this. This man has so many different flavors of work he needs to open his own ice cream book shop. I have yet to read Dog of War yet so I can’t say what it’s super similar to in terms of his body of work, but anything is more character focused than Children of Time, so if it’s that, then this series and something like Guns of the Dawn might appeal to you
