Omg my favourite author also plays my favourite TTRPGs. And all the casual info on upcoming releases! How exciting!

What an excellent conversation. It is wonderful to hear Tchaikovsky discuss his entire oeuvre and there are so many gems - his ideas, his worldbuilding approach and his humility. Loved the little hints about upcoming works. Kudos to you as an interviewer for keeping the conversation flowing so well, transitioning between topics organically and just letting Tchaikovsky shine. Many congratulations, thank you for this interview and here's to many more. 🥳🙏🏽

Pete this was a stupendous chat-it’s so different watching an author interview when the interviewee is both a huge fan but also so well versed in the full range of the author’s works. And you uncovered an Elder Race follow up let’s gooooooooo

Excellent job Pete! Love how Adrian just casually drops like five things coming out this year and then he's like "oh yeah btw theres also some novellas, idk man, when I know, you'll know" and that's after talking about three other books coming out in 2026 💀

Wow, so great to see this on my KZfaq feed. Watching now with keen interest. I am interested in Tchaikovsky's ideas and in particular, his thoughts on his recent novel Alien Clay.

Sadly I wasn’t able to talk about Alien Clay that much as I hadn’t formulated too many questions on it yet. I only finished it last night.

Pippin spends his time in Gondor with a regular guardsman. It's how we get to see the people of the white city and their fears. Tolkien was raised by a single mother, orphaned as a young teen, and worked to be one a professor...never read this dudes books and dont plan to now...comrade.
