Very hard. But what matters most when it comes to long-lasting and quality relationships , platonic, romantic and other types of relationships, is the quality and not the quantity. And I can promise you that as you get older, you'll realise that having a small-ish circle of good friends , family and anyone else that is a part of your community is better than having too many "friends" that don't care for you are trying to sabotage you ( which is why many people are having fewer friends and other important relationships these days) But like with anything, a good thing is hard to find, so it can take time for you to find your people that click with you. But they are there and you are not alone in your feelings. One thing that can come out of being an outcast is that you can use it as an opportunity to become self-sufficient, learn more about human nature and see through the various inequalities and injustices in society and through people's hypocrisies while working on your own character But what I will say is continue to put yourself out there in terms of interacting with others in spaces that are conducive for making friends ( volunteering at whatever charities and non profit organisations that touch you like maybe animal shelter volunteering, engaging activities and hobbies (which can often be a part of some sort of lessons or clubs) like dancing, tennis, horse-riding, debating, gaming and if you are attending a tertiary institution like a college or a university, then they definitely have something. Not to mention the other ways that you can meet like-minded people is through various events like Comic con , being a part of subcultures like the goth emo and steampunk etc. I hear that there are also apps for friendships but be careful; this world is dangerous and too many malicious people out here. As for the socialising part, like tinkywinky said, you get better at it in time. No one was born knowing how to perfectly socialise with other, although I understand that it is easier in certain ways for non-neurodivergent people so if you are neurodivergent, I suggest looking into videos for neurodivergent people or even going in the forums for neurodivergent people or talking to professionals that can assist you in this. Although even if you aren't neurodivergent, there are videos on tips for socialising from various therapist and counsellors If your depression is something that persists or is really taking a toll on your life in a negative way that you cannot function as well as other psychological and interpersonal issues that you may have , please do see a mental health professional if you are able to . On Psychology Today, they have a bar where you can look for mental health providers in your country. Otherwise I can only suggest you looking at videos on how to best manage our situation from psychologists and other mental health professionals or calling the relevant mental health hotline in your country. Some KZfaqrs that I would like to recommend that have dealt with being ostracised and have tips around that or just generally some KZfaqrs with some good life advice. ​@@empanada869I have 4 sisters, my best friend growing up was a girl, and I had many other female friends over the course of my life, and I can tell you most of them have been bullied by other girls, cor no reason. My oldest sister was ganged up on by some girl she didn't even know, because apparently she felt threatened. My youngest sister was bullied by pretty much every other girl in class because she has dyslexia and dysgraphia A woman I used to be friends with, she was 24 and still had traumas from high school bullying, she was too afraid to wear dress and heels because of that, worried she would be judged. Gorgeous woman btw

And then I had a beautiful ex, truly stunning, soft, beautiful, she was even slightly taller than me and always treated me so well, never made me feel like I'm not good enough.
