Almost there, you still need the Z1 cam/valve springs package and the ported lower intake manifold, oh yeah and the Z1 aluminum flywheel 👍

Man I can’t wait to start working again to keep dumping money into my G again ! I already got a custom exhaust z1 100 cel HFCs rabbit hole intakes with velocity stacks and just oem q50 oem 19x8 wheels with Indy 500s. Next thing I want to do it’s coilovers and sway bars

It is best used with upper. Small difference that would be worth it to anyone doing a full bolt on build. But it's minimal imo.

How much power can these motors handle stock? I’m thinking about buying one and boosting it but not sure what a safe boost/horsepower level would be for a stock bottom end.

@@Saltystylez sheesh 700 whp on a stock block? Thats about 800hp crank. What about head lift, bearings, diff, and axles. I don't normally see Z and G's running too long at that level with stock drive train parts. Anyway I'm def rooting for you and can't wait to see the end result. My z is getting boosted soon. Just debating between the Topgunz new SC kit or one of the single turbo options BP, SBR, OR SOHO.

Buy an exhaust and some nice 20" wheels. That's all you need to look and sound good! Anything more is kind of a waste of money on this car and could make it unreliable or cause unnecessary issues. That's all I did to mine and I'm 100% satisfied with it. It's the perfect daily.

The first mistake is asking someone else what you need to do to your car. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ You'll get a 1000 responses, and some of them are from people who don't even have the damn car! If your car is at least a 12, its dependable. If you want to mod your car, do your own research and buy quality parts!! Yeah, its expensive!! But you get what you pay for. And thats why some people don't buy aftermarket parts, because they don't have the money, then say its not worth it to do. If YOU like it, thats all that matters. Never let anyone tell you what you should do about anything 💯

All that for 340 whp? Most basic NA builds with cheap parts (test pipes, basic exhaust) make 330-335. I know you're going boosted but are the ported intake manifolds really worth it?

I don’t think it’s worth it for just a 3-5hp gain if anything I would port the tbs for better throttle response since it’s fairly cheap to do

Throughout this build we learned that there's a huge difference between the 2009-2013 motors and the 2014+ motors. The 2014 motors can easily achieve these numbers and more with simple bolt-ons. So for earlier motors, it really isn't worth investing all the money into the full bolt on build IMO. But now with boost it should help a little to achieve my target numbers. We shall see this month.
