Gavin, I have the mother of all simple cheeses to make and it's very satisfying. Labneh balls. It's labneh cheese which is strained yogurt that hangs for an extra day to get it firm. We roll it into balls and then roll the balls in zatar, Aleppo pepper or similar. It's then put in a jar and covered in olive oil. It's home made cheese, like "Persian feta" that can be made from scratch in 2 days. It would be great to see on the channel. Great for beginners, great for kids.

I have made farmers cheese from milk with great success but my question is thus - Can cheese be made from fruit flavored yogurt? To date internet searches have come up short, i.e. plain yogurt only. Is it possible?

I suppose you can, but most of those sweetened with artifical sweetner and have thickeners added. You may be able to strain it, but I don't like your chances.
