Yo this comment is blowing my mind right now. I was super close with my mother my whole life. To the point that I have Mama's Boy and a breast cancer ribbon with a rose on my face. But she passed away from breast cancer in April of 2017. She was my biggest fan but had never seen me accomplish anything big while she was here. But every time I would post on Facebook she would comment on it and say just say "Yep, yep....." like that was her catchphrase. I have been wondering if she can see what I've been doing on my KZfaq channel and your comment is a sign to me that she absolutely is seeing what is happening. Thank you.

The story he has behind this song is epic. He was living in the hood in LA, after he recorded this song he played it for his neighbors which were mostly black and guess what, they had a conversation about it and then all BBQ’d together, why you ask? Because racism is not what the media wants us all to think it is.

Agreed. It's still a great perspective to have though. ALL OF US can be wrong about something and still be a good person. We need to normalize admitting we could be wrong and forgiving others who come around after being mislead. We could all use a bit more humility. Having confidence and conviction is a good thing, but not if it can't be swayed from a flawed point of view.

He was bought and sold not for the color of his skin. But because of his personal believes in freedom and independence! From the English. And fought for that! People say yeah but that's different. Tell me how! I mean he was taken from his home and family he was never again able to return to and see again.

Same. My family was sold from Ireland during the potato famine. People are so focused on the African American slaves that they completely ignore that people of all races and nationalities were slaves, too. Going back literally to Sumer and Kush, all the way up through the Roman Empire, the Colonial times, and even right now. What I don't understand is how every other people that has been enslaved, from the dawn of time until now, has managed to get over the fact that their ancestors were slaves, and live in the now, EXCEPT some of the African Americans. It's definitely not even close to all of them, because I know entirely too many that don't buy into the BS and are living just fine. Are we doing it wrong? I mean, should we Irish be bleating on about how we were done wrong by the English, the Romans, and the Vikings? Is there some kind of magic in this traumatized victim mentality that we're missing out on?

Man that part where he’s resting on the desk and says, “I deserve the chance to show you I'm not part of the problem And you owe it to yourselves, we got so much in common” legit brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it, it’s just those lines that just resonate in my soul man. The song in general resonates with me, growing up I lived in the hood, and I went to a majority black school, I was like the only white boy, and I was bullied day in day out, and I finally one day broke down in front of my mom outside of the school because that day I got jumped during recess, I came inside told the teachers and pointed out who did it, then waited and the teacher came out of the office and said “It was your fault, you started it” and walked off, and I just remember sitting there in the hall all alone and broken, I hadn’t done anything, i was just hanging out with my friends and got jumped by three other boys for no reason.

I can relate. I live in Australia and I went to a pretty multicultural school, but I am white (like fucking snow white) kids straight up hated me because I was so white. One girl told me that the colour of my skin just made her angry, another girl told me she found the colour of my skin offensive. It hurt so much because I honestly don’t look at a person and see a colour. The way I decided if I like a person is to have a conversation with them. To get to know them. One day I had enough and I lost my shit as well. I said to these girls, how does it feel to be doing to me, what others do to you???? Horrible people decided they don’t like you because of the colour of your skin and that made you feel you feel like shit. And now you’re doing that exact same thing to me. How does it feel to become the person you hate so much????? Then I walked away crying. I think it made them think, because they never picked on me again after that.

I grew up in a REALLY diverse area inside rhe beltway of DC. I remember being friends with every race in elementary school, and being so upset at noticing differences in middle school. I was friendly with a black girl and she was nice to me, and then when I went to go sit with her at lunch she was with a whole bunch of black girls. They said I couldn’t sit with them with “those shoes”. From that day on she bullied me and I guess it was to fit in with her crew. It’s like a survival instinct, if you ever notice a child will mimic its parents or those around it who are aggressive so they don’t get turned on. Sorry you had to go through with that on a greater scale. My school life got a bit better in highschool because it was soooo mixed that everyone kind of got it, (before marxist “wokeness” started the white people baaaad thing) but I know minority white inner city schools are rough on white kids. Ny fiance was a russian in inner city baltimore…. At least he could play the “I’m russian don’t f with me” card and go batshit crazy/pretend his family was the mob. Harder for a “regular white kid” in the US.

I'm white and I worked at a hotel for many years, I took that opportunity to speak to as many people as would speak to me on the topic of race. Most black or brown people I speak to, when I ask if they have experienced racism and they say yes, i always respond with "do you think they are racist or just saying something they know will cause you to react?" Most of the time that question makes them think and they will often say they think the person was just being a complete asshole. Being racist and being a rude ass prick are not the same.

You are going to explode bro, I’m white I started out in the hood of south Sacramento’s a kid . I grew up poor with drug dealers on every other house yet I rose up when I decided at 8 years old that I’ll never be like my parents. I’m being real and not flexing but I worked so hard that I bought my first house at 29 years old and it’s almost paid off and worth 3 times what I paid,. Don’t accept that you aren’t worth a shit, you are worth so much more! You got this rise up save 10k or 10% and you can get any crib you want in your name! You got this DO IT, I am proof it can be done and it has nothing to do with my color.

It’s so right, you ARE a self made person, if YOU believe in yourself YOU can do it! So many are just VICTIMS who never move past their victim-hood. If you want MORE then no one is going to hand it to you. YOU have to do the things that will change your path & Take your life back. Victims will always be looking for the hand out, not the hand UP.

You hit the nail on the head when you said "they" don't want things to be relaxed between people. They want a deterioration of race relations, a disintegration of family, faith, friendship, and all the ties that bind us together. John Lennon said something years ago. "Once they've made you angry, they know how to deal with you." It is the people who can look beyond petty differences & work together which scares "them".

Love me some NF and Tom I’ve been a huge fan of since before he blew up but... Miller... I don’t know about that one being in their category, I sort of know about him and he was from an hour away from me. His music was too... worldly for me, he was too much into the occult. Tom n nf spoke on real shit, even nf is kind of dark for my style but he also throws positive messages in w his mess, his beats are dope, what do you like about Miller? I’m just curious don’t take it as a diss or an attack. Lol

Bro thank you so much for your kind words. I went through SO MUCH bullying in middle and high school and people were so racist to me bc of how pale I am. Even black people would diss me for being white.. little did they know, I'm NOT pure white.. my 4th great grandma was black. Basically what I'm saying is, you never truly know someone's actual race by just looking at them. No matter our color, we are the same on the inside💕

Your station in life means you have more in common with people of different races than people the same race whose lives are way different.
