Looked a lot Better than the Chinese Buffet i had in Manchester China town on Saturday. Altho i had proper plates, bowls, & Cutlery. Plastic stuff with food is a Big no from me. 😋😋😋😋😋👍

I would never think of Orlando as a place that would have good Chinese food. Maybe Montery Park, California or for sure New York city. New York city has the largest Chinese population of any city in the world outside of Asia.

We've been to this very buffet restaurant a couple of times and really enjoyed it. It was full on both occasions when we were there. The plates were proper plates and cutlery too, not sure why they've turned to polystyrene! 🤷🏻‍♂️ Another great video Lee!👍

It's more of a Chinese American cuisine. It's Orlando so the prices are pricey. It would be something to try once. If your all day at the parks and really hungry

Cheap then,l think a $1 to £2 or the other way around it was brilliant with two kids in tow, many years ago.Anyway Lee loved the vlog on the intro behind you is a sticker MSG. The alarm bells would have been raised straight away for me. 6pm and not very busy at all. For me, buffets can't win either way. Too many people, and I worry about cleanliness. Empty, and I worry about the food being stood for too long!

Absolutely right the Chinese isn’t the same this side of the pond. For $17.95 they could’ve at least had real plates and cutlery. Hot food melts polystyrene.

Went to this one 3 years ago. Good but not exceptional then, seems the same now. In those days had proper plates and cutlery. Avoided dessert too, but there again normally do. Did like the kiosks though. Score seems about right.

At least you tried it. In my experience I have found cheap buffet places full of promise but seldom deliver. However there are always exceptions but may be this was not one of them. For me the best videos you do are the food ones. The only issue we always feel hungry afterwards hence the increase in my weight. Anyway great channel. Many thanks.

Whenever I went to the States I loved Orange chicken was my favourite chinese food there, have never found it in the UK

Eating off a polystyrene plate with plastic utensils food which has been hanging around for ages isn't really my cup of tea. Chinese should really always be freshly cooked. My local all you can eat cooks to order. Plates, utensils hygienic... Yes BUT in 2022 we should think of the planet! Cheers Phil

Yeah lee my 1st experience of a Chinese buffet was right where you are now and to be fair I rated it very well if I remember I would of definitely give it a 9/10 to be fair it was lovely

i totally agree with you, Lee. Yes, you can find Chinese Buffets in the UK that is worth 10 pounds or even less. The last time i ate was just 7 pounds in Manchester Chinatown and food choices even better.

One of the best Chinese’s I’ve ever had was at Epcot centre in the Chinese area, chicken Szechuan was absolutely delicious! I’ll never forget that dish and have tried to replicate it without success😂😂a real pity prices have shot up for average food there too…..

In Florida you have to go for the early bird menu. Usually 2 sittings starting at 4pm. For those retired there who don’t want a late night. Early bird special

We ate at this place back in 2017 and it was $8.00! It was really poor and not like the selection you got in the vlog so looks like a little improvement since we last went!

The last time I’ve eaten from paper plates was at a kids party😀. I wouldn’t eat there for free because I very much doubt they throw the food away that’s been sitting under the hot lamps for endless hours on end (or days), so are braver than me. From what I saw food wise I wouldn’t have given it more than 4.5.

As you are in orlando, you should try some of the truckstops in the area, some of them are massive. Compare the standard between them and the touristy places. Or do some and compare to ours when your back in good auld blighty.

Lee I agree, lived in South Carolina for 17 years and still never found a good Chinese...like we had in the UK as a take out on Fridays !!! Went to Uk December and had a great take out at the same one I used before we moved. Im sure Charlotte North Carolina have goods ones and the bigger cities like Atlanta and NYC...great videos on I Drive ...🙂

It's on International Drive Orlando. That's the tourist area and they will charge more. If you go to Chinse buffets on Colonial Drive, and other areas away from the tourist areas, it will be a little cheaper. It's still not that expensive for edible food.

I've eaten there in 2023! I would rate it at 6.5 out of 10 because the food was hot and I went late say 10 pm always enjoy your interviews especially the Empire Diner in NY!

Daym that brought back memories for me I luv the Orange Chicken and General Tso's Chicken in the States been an age since my last visit

Food looks really good. Considering a crappy bought in burger and chips in a pub in U.K. now is usually around £14 I’d say the buffet was good value too.

I agree that the price was too high. I'm watching this video late December 2023 and I live in the US and I can tell you Chinese buffet prices here are still less than that at most other restaurants. Also, I disagree that it was more hygenic. At Costco, they have a system where a machine releases one fork at a time. At the restaurant in this video, everyone is just reaching into a bin of forks. Also, styrofoam and single-use plastics? They suck at environmentalism. At the prices they're charging for the buffet, surely they should be able to afford dishwashers. I think you were generous with your score.

Hi Lee Chinese Buffet’s in NJ precovid prices were 12.00 per person I haven’t gone post pandemic so it seems a little high ,one of my favorite foods is also Chinese

You said it, you get what you pay for, another chain restaurant. Most of that food will be frozen or pre packed very little made fresh. I would keep well clear.

The disposables were a complete turnoff. The food looked just ok. The price was too high. I don't have to be nice, so 4.8. Oh, the first The MacMaster video I watched was Europe's Largest Chinese Buffet. The place and food looked awesome. When you jumped up and ran around looking for your chips in all that great looking Chinese food, you had me in hysterics. I was hooked. 😉

I love Chinese buffets and I could eat at one almost every day. The thing is they can offer so many different items, but usually they skimp on quality and also temperature of the food (because it sits out for so long it's not hot enough). I love the variety and even if you just find 4 or 5 things you really like, get more of that and enjoy. You mentioned that Chinese buffets are different in the U.K. What would you say are the main differences?

Hmm … didn’t look the best to me tbh but as you say it is what it is . Compared to Vegas prices I think you’re doing well so far and it shows Florida isn’t as cheap as it used to be. If you’re on holiday do you really want food that is just “ok”? But on the other hand it can take days to get it right and spend $$$ getting to that point. You are helping by giving an honest, balanced review of what you see , visit and eat. Maybe try an American buffet breakfast / dinner? Many thanks as ever for all your hard work Regards H

It was in my opinion as you said an ok Chinese all you can eat place. Pricewise hmm seen more expensive i guess but as you said seen and been to a lot cheaper over here in the UK. Very clean if not environmentally friendly. Would have been nice maybe if there was a recycle box so that all the plastic cutlery could have been put in i suppose. Great vlog though Lee. My score 7.5

There was a Chinese on I drive with a bridge over a pond of carp was top food many moons ago when I visited. I think it was not far from Ripleys but across road, worth a look to see if its still good. 🙏🏾

First off my friend I love your channel, that being said, it’s really hard to go to certain places like Orlando Florida, especially right in the heart of international Drive or Disney Springs and find anything that’s going to be an expensive and good quality. If you want something cheap, you can find it but it’s going to be a poor quality just like a golden corral or a Friendly’s. You simply can’t go to those type of places and get low price good value. That’s actually the going rate in most Chinese buffets all across the United States so it is a good price for here. And for a Chinese buffet, it looked decent which is about as good as you’re going to get. On a sidenote the best Chinese food I’ve ever had is in New York city and Long Island. It’s not real Chinese food it’s Cantonese food done for American tastes. There are plenty of low-cost good quality places to find good food in Florida and all across the United States, you just have to go more off the beaten path. If you and the Silver Fox are ever on Long Island and want to make your way out to Suffolk County, there is a place I can definitely recommend that you would enjoy and not spend an arm and a leg. Hi Lee I was at there same Chinese in 2017 and the food was awful, service was just as bad then when we asked for the bill they had the nerve to put 10 dollars service charge on , better off going to millers down the road better atmosphere & service

Hey Mac, if you're still in Florida and need a restaurant to film, try El Primo in Kissime Florida. It is very close to your location now. Be well and try the Bistec Empanizado. You will love it. Prices are reasonable because this place is for locals and my friends named Mac. Lol.

Believe it or not, the best Chinese Buffet I’ve ever had was in Lancaster Pennsylvania! ( Right. When I think Amish , I ALWAYS think Egg Rolls !!)

Once I was very ill with one I had in Los Angeles 🚑 so put me off a bit having a Chinese in America now and I love Chinese!! That was quite expensive for a Chinese Buffet special if you had a family with you, But like everything in the world now as gone up in price, days of cheap as gone 🤷‍♀️ as for plastic plates and cutlery I get that for safety!! But not wearing a mask at a help yourself Buffet 😷🤧👀not sure about that 🤔 I give it a 6/10 😊👍xx

Long time since I tried a couple of those China Buffet places over there... looks better now as used to always be sadly lacking on anything that had.... meat, all rice,noodles,veg.. never saw the ribs. Buffets in Uk were much the same years ago but now, far more choice.

Tip for next time that you travel to the USA 🇺🇸 Lee , take your own knive , fork and spoon …. Just a thought my friend Xx
