Now let's understand how the PLC scans these TON timer on delay timers and locks them in step with the DN done bit. This ladder logic works with Studio 5000, RsLogix 5000, RsLogix 500, and Connected Components Workbench.

Took me a bit to grasp this when I was learning PLCs, trending the tags helped paint a clear picture between transitions.

That helps me see how I could remove some latches that I used in my code. Very cool I would love to see uses on TOF timers I have used them but can't say I fully know the full use thank you
