I have hooded eyes and learned to start the wing from the lower lashline going upward at a diagonal or straight horizontally depending on how hooded your eyes are instead of starting at the upper lashline. Gives you more room to create the wing and connect it. Hope this makes sense.

@@ale.marmon oh and I use eyeliner in my waterline and connect it to the liquid eyeliner on the lower lashline so there is no harsh end to the beginning of the liquid liner. Looks harsh for me if I only use liquid liner and nothing in the waterline

@@nivimb795 Very nice. Thank you. My eyes weren’t always hooded but I’m getting older. I won’t give up on the wings. Look out for a crazy old lady with sickening winged eyeliner. My daughter’s eyes are huge and not hooded but they turn downward. I wonder if this tip will work better for her. 🤔

I absolutely love the glossier liquid eyeliner! I work outside in the Florida heat and humidity, and I never have to worry about my eyeliner smudging or budging. Truly an amazing product. Love your videos!

I was a liquid liner girl for years but have recently switched to pencil liner. I absolutely love Covergirl Exhibitionist 24 hour kohl liner. It applies very smoothly-I barely need to press down to get amazing pigment. And it lasts all day!

I loved the Nyx epic ink for the first couple of uses and then the packaging always starts leaking really badly. I've purchased few of them thinking that I got a bad one but no, always leaking. I've found really affordable dupe for it and it's Catrice Brush Ink tattoo liner! Same kind of tip, usability and lasting power as Nyx Epic Ink, but even more affordable, and this hasn't started leaking.

I was very shocked to see this liner was number one. Packaging could be much better, and the tip can be a bit longer. I only bought it twice and the first pen leaked everywhere, and the second pen dried out after a month and only used a handful of times. To me not worth it even at a drugstore price. Would like to try the Catrice one that you mentioned.

NYX has a great one called That's The Point. It's even finer than Epic Ink and so underrated! No leaking.

Also surprised to see this one as number one. I used to love it and used it for some years but it started leaking and read online that actually it happened a lot. It was not faulty package of mine. So I tried the rare beauty as everyone was raving about it, I followed the instructions to store it as it said to store it upside down for the ink to always touch the tip and when I opened it for the first time ALL LEAKED!!! actually I have that on video and I cannot believe that happened. I was super mad as it is a high end product. Since then I stopped using eye liner daily and haven´t found one that works for me and does not leak :(

I love the UD 24/7 liner! They have so many fun colors that I had to stop myself in the past from buying so many! The colors Mushroom and Smoke are my absolute favorite! Also love the Elf eyeshadow sticks for eyeliner as well. They don’t budge! Love this series as does everyone else.

I agree with the Stila review. I'm not much of an eyeliner person but this liquid eyeliner, for a person with watery eyes is a life saver.

The Physicians Formula is amazing! It out performs so many of the high-end liners out there. A testament to it's performance and longevity, is that it holds up all day at a rock music festival in the summer.

The NYX epic ink liner is so awesome! Because of the great price, I just don’t see the point in buying anything high-end. I used to really love the KVD one until I discovered the NYX. I love this series and all your videos! 💕 can’t wait for the next one!

I live in the UK and I have the Stila because it was in the discount section one day so I picked it up to try. I have hooded eyes and an oily skin type and it lasts. I would definitely repurchase, very happy it's top 3! 🥰

Coming from a blind person, Haus Laboratories micro-tip liquid eyeliner has made me fall in love with eyeliner. I think its the easiest formula to work with. It dries super quick though. That thing lasts all freaking day 🥰😍

That physicians formula eyeliner is the BEST. I don't do wings very often but this liner is the EASIEST I have found and lasts so well. It's also so black which I love. I always prefer a brush tip which this has - the tip never dries out! 💜

Epic ink and kvd are solid! Sometimes the former seems to leak on me, and the latter loses its pointy shape however. I personally love the Ulta Classic brown because it never dries out yet isn't too leaky, and Wet N Wild Breakup proof for black liquid eyeliner for same reasons. Both are easy to control and I get months of daily use from them.

I started using the KVD liner when it launched in 2010. It has gotten me through my college days and now working through my days as a primary school teacher. I've probably repurchased 20x. I've strayed and tried other/cheaper alternatives like (Stila, Maybelline, UD, sephora brand) every so often but I've consistently gone back to KVD every time! It has gone through different formulations and rebrands but it's one of their brand pillars for a reason :) Sending love to you from Vancouver, Canada!

I love these ranking videos you do. I wish I voted, but I missed it. I’ve tried a couple of the top 10 but I’ve found a new number 1. Nothing beats this eyeliner for me. It goes on so easily and I think it’s the formula and tip. It feels fool proof. Even when I make a mistake I just wait for it to dry and scrape it with a spoolie. Yet it lasts and helps with watery eyes because it’s waterproof. It’s the Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real Xtreme Precision Liner. Totally blown away by it! Love this!!! My favorite liquid liner is the NYC liquid liner which was discontinued and no longer sold in the US many years ago. I've been rationing my last bottle for the last 2 years because it's the only liner I know how to use and I've used for over a decade. I have no idea what I'm going to do when it runs out. What I love about the NYC liner is that it's a brush and when it first came out it was the only brush liner or the market PERIOD. My lids have a bit of extra skin so I need a product that glids on with no drag and every felt tip liner I have ever tried has just been too harsh, done too much skipping over my extra skin and dries out too fast for any price to be worth it. Even some of the ones on this list. Thinking of buying a brush and giving gel eyeliner a try once my liquid liner runs out. We will see! Love from Cleveland Ohio.

I use the Danessa Myricks Colorfix in "Blackout" as my go-to eyeliner. I squeeze the tiniest bit on the back of my hand, then I take an eyeliner brush (mine is from ELF), and I can achieve so many different effects! Whether it's smoked out, in a crisp wing, or in my tight line, it lasts ALL DAY!! It's also great if you do other people's makeup, because the squeezy tube prevents cross contamination. I cannot recommend the colorfixes enough!!! ♡

The Maybelline Master Precise USED to be the best. They redid the packaging years ago and the cap now sucks and dries out super quick. But the formula and brush/tip are great

Totally agree with the number 1 eyeliner from NYX. As it's very precise and helps me have a nice wing always. A series on just lip liners would be fab as it's always hard to finish one that doesn't dry up your lips. God Bless Anà From Australia💕😊

It transfers for me. I have partially hooded eyes so maybe that’s one cause but I remember in the first uses it stayed put. But after use number 3 it started transferring without a fail. I become a raccoon with it after 4 hours.

For pencil I can confidently say that the best one for me is NYX Epic Wear Eyeliner (I own black, periwinkle and chartreuse). It stays through everything, rain, sweat, micelar water (yup, oil cleanse is required with it) and I never used better one. It doesn't budge. Once it sets it stays there.

Mine was #1 I was glad to see it 😁 I also have the colourpop honeydew! Another one I find reallt interesting as a color and good formula is the MUFE liquid liner in the shade chameleon, I am a sucker for iridescent duochrome looks and this just gives it something extra.

Love your videos! I sometimes take notes so I can go out and search for products you mention. I have to say that you are not giving yourself enough credit on that eyeliner look today! Before I saw the title of this video I immediately noticed your eyes and thought, “Wow! Her eye look is beautiful!” I have a terrible time using liquid liner probably because I am creeping up in age. Haha! I look forward to trying out some of these recommendations! Love from Ohio❤️

I'm not on the other channels due to helping take care of mom who is 87 and has dementia. Most days I'm late on here. My favorite is Nyx, New Suede Shoes. I've been using it since you mentioned it ages ago. Lol 🥰

I didn’t know you were making this series, and I’m subscribed to you! Haha guess I better catch up. Another great liner in my opinion is the Maybelline Hyper Easy liner. It has a small brush tip so you can be super precise with your line work.

The NYX Epic Ink is the only liquid liner I use anymore. I also agree with the placement of the Urban Decay colored liners in that list...they are so so good. I have a pencil by L'Ancome in a brown black color called Espresso that I've had for YEARS and it's still perfect, and I use it daily. It stays all day, it's the perfect neutral brown but dark enough that it looks terrific in the waterline and it smudges beautifully and lasts all day. Big fan.

I go through eyeliners so quick. I only use the liquid dip ones, as pencils aren't good for wings and the felt tip ones always dry out or lose their colour when applied over eyeshadow. I love the Maybelline liquid dip eyeliner and also the L'Oreal and Nyx liquid dip ones

I’m with you!! The dip ones last me way more than the pens and I can’t stand the pens anymore! The Maybelline Line Stiletto (dip version) is definitely my go to, has been for 10+ years :)

Omgg!!! Thank you sooo much for video!!! This is exactly what I was needing. I have used the Dolly wink liquid eyeliner for years after I went to Japan and now I can't get it anymore on Amazon 😭 So I have been trying to find a new one to replace it!!!! Thank you Soo much and will definitely have to try the top 3 ☺️

Yay! My favorite one made number 1! 😃 Another one that's also great and that is underrated is the Pretty Easy liner from Clinique. As the name says, it is pretty easy to apply! The only thing is that it's a bit shiny. I love that the Epic Ink liner is matte yet easy to apply like the Clinique, and it's drugstore! What more can you ask for? 😉

I love these videos so much and will probably try a number of these liners when I go back to work in the fall - thanks for this series! Also...any thoughts on doing a video like this for make-up remover after this is all done?! Aside from expensive Elemis Cleansing Balm, I've not found a remover that *really* removes make-up. I'd love to see your viewers' top 10! xxooxxoo

The Revolution Beauty Renaissance Liquid Eyeliner is also really nice.. doesn't dry out or smudge and is very easy to use.

Great video. I personally love Maybelline lasting drama eyeliner in twinkle black in waterline. For liquid I like tarteist in black. Thank you!

I’m shocked to not see the essence liquid liner on this list! It isn’t a pen, which may make it difficult for some to apply, but it is so matte and black, and waterproof without being advertised as “waterproof.” Plus, it’s like three dollars

Personally if its not a pen then any good it is is useless to me😅 i find the little pots get SO much product on the brush that either it floods, ruining my makeup or hurting my eyes or I have to wipe it which eventually makes it all gunky and disgusting. Plus most of their handles are like, the lid to the container so they kinda flare out like a skirt and I hate the way it feels, like awkward and harder to get it in the areas around my nose. Dunno if I've got a big nose or what🤷🏻♂️ but also I think its worth noting that I've been an artist for a long time and just recently got into eyeliner so im sure that factors in to why I like using a pen. All prefrence! Just like sharing my opinion :)

I have so many of these!! In black and brown. I need to try colorful ones. I don't own any, but black and brown lol!! I'm kinda surprised Nyx was number 1... I was thinking the KVD or Stila one. Epic Ink is very good. Great video, Allie!! 💚💜💙
