I literally found my new favorite channel. This is why I believe KZfaq exist for guys like this to scale up to the big time. This dude really needs his own TV show. It’s amazing that no one has picked him up yet. Keep up the good work and while I wait, I will hydrate! Until the next episode brother!

I was raised to never eat Gar or Buffalo growing up...My dad considered them a "trash fish". 40 years later and I am finding out how wrong my ole' pops was! As it is with anything out of the ordinary (alligator for example) it's all about the Recipe and Preperation. Thanks Kracker for another awesome vid and recipe that is both FIRE and MONEY! 🔥💲👍

not to sure on the gar but the ribs off a buffalo fish are very good.

I've tasted gar before, it tasted like fish to me! I know the buffalo fish is delicious, just too many bones! Don't see much gar or buffalo in the fish markets these days in CA. I really miss the good fish they use to have bck n the day!!!

I was raised like you, but not sure if I folks were wrong are not. I think crappie, bream , bass and catfish are better. But never ate a gar. If that's all I could get my hands on the lets eat .

I’m a classic trained chef from Brasil and worked at restaurants like the French laundry. There is nothing better then catching your fish or shooting your game and cooking it. Nothing better and this man had the perfect color on the those Gar balls. Amazing! I spent only a little time in Luisiana and I wish I spent more. They have so much culture and they cook so well it’s amazing. God bless
