Mike has poor self control and an ungrateful attitude he also slouches. Yuck! Gloria could have done much,much better! He did not deserve her or the free ride. Disrespectful and doesn’t pull his weight.

Mike only gave a damn about himself. Never left college, mooched off of Archie and drove Gloria away by putting her down. Everytime he saw Lionel he had to talk about race which Lionel and Gloria called him out on. Always complaining but no solutions.

Archie was always wrong, that's kinda what they made you think back then - but as I got older I could see yes indeed Archie was wrong a lot but so was Meat Heat , Sometimes MORE then Archie- I mean he got some money when his uncle died once and instead of giving it all or at least half to Archie to help with the bills he gives it to the Democrats and even brag's to Archie about it ?

Archie was always RIGHT and, like Archie says, "Remember, Meathead, Right is RIGHT!" SO TRUE TRUMP 2024!!! Meathead was a dumb LIb and we all can still see that TODAY! Mike should get his own apartment and make a living and take care of his wife--my husband did it --he has a Msster's in Physics and lived on his OWN since 18 and worked his butt off to do it.

Just a virtue signalling hypocrite liberal who deals in fallacious guilt trips and wants what other people worked hard for, like Archie. He could have gotten a part time job while going to school to help Archie out but he didn’t because he had all the comforts for free including Archie’s daughter. He couldn’t have cared less for the blacks or the poor, he just used them as pawns to make himself look and feel better like all white modern liberals.

He wasn't a meathead then and he's not a meathead now. IRL Carroll O'Connor was the polar opposite of his character Archie Bunker. He said he played Archie over the top and acting the buffoon as a parody. He was hoping folks would see how NOT to be. Archie's character arc changed for the better over the years as he grew a little softer & kinder, a lot more wise and much less temperamental. Contrary to popular belief, folks of that era actually became more progressive over the decades, not more conservative. O'Connor was very proud of Archie's changes, but, sadly, he was under the mistaken impression that people everywhere actually understood what he was trying so hard to do. Unfortunately, back in the day, there were also way too many people who hailed Archie as some warped kind of hero when he was at his very worst - bigoted and racist, misogynistic, homophobic, angry & stubborn and viewed it as permission to be the same shitty way - openly ignorant and proud of it. Instead of learning and growing, as Archie did, they just doubled down. It was sad then and it's even sadder now, 50 years later. The folks who missed that valuable life lesson are the ones still supporting an Orange treasonous, criminal con man for POTUS in 2024. It makes me ill... and poor Carroll is probably rolling in his grave.
