Poor little Allis L girl. She defo needs some TLC ... Could end up as a real nice head turner.

Thanks. Neat tractor. The show was great on Saturday. Little crisp with the wind up on the road near Squatch's booth, but warmed in the afternoon. BTW - I need to bring a bigger trailer next year...smile.

Kyle, I have a NOS box of 10 Champion 45 spark plugs, invert good condition. Printed on a paper insert inside the box is, "IMPORTANT To conserve critical materials these plugs have no terminals. Use terminals from old pugs" WWII era. The following is from Smokestack: "Looked through my Champion charts a second time and see that I did miss an application listed under Farm Tractors - Allis-Chalmers KO, LO, SO, WKO & WSO. Gap .020" - .025". The Allis-Chalmers EO-60 & LO-90 is also listed under Combines, Harvesters and Farm Machinery." Looks to me to be pretty much an Allis-Chalmers plug." They've been setting in my basement for 30 years. They need a better home then my basement.

Thanks, setting twin carbs is one of the hardest things I've ever done. Automatic transmissions are a cakewalk compared to setting multiple carbs. 👍😉

Wonderful, you've SCOOPED SQUATCH253..! But, I'll happily watch Toby as he will no doubt have more eccentric information, i.e. Mags or PTO, etc. Thanks, Kyle..!

I missed you there. That's alright. I got to talk to Kenny Kizzle. That was better anyway. Thank you Kyle.

I saw you Bryce, I was standing right next to Squatch253 when you walked up but didn't get a chance to say hello before you left
@brycewiborg8095 Жыл бұрын
@Kyle Christ OK. I don't stick around long because there's lots to see. I brought home several relatively simple projects today. Only bought a chisel for a quarter yesterday.

Hi, Folks. If my understanding is correct, the standard gasoline burning Model L had twin exhaust stacks but the multi-fuelled, spark-and-injection Model LO had triple exhaust stacks. Thanks, Kyle, for the upload. Just my 0.02. You all have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Not sure where you would go on that one without a parts machine and two lifetimes of extra patience.😊 Steve

So did you find any treasure's down at Le sueur that you couldn't live without?

Sure did, video coming soon

I like it. Rumor has it that there is a LaPlant-Choate C-45 scraper up there like mine. Have you seen it?
@kylechrist Жыл бұрын
It may be in a building, I did not run across any scrapers

Wow never seen a steer wheel

I own an Allis K with one and did a video of that last fall showing the steering wheel and how it operates the steering clutches

Was the S the size in between the K and L, or was it made at a different time period? Having trouble remembering lol.
@kylechrist Жыл бұрын
You are correct, the S is in between the K and the L, although it is closer in size to the L. I didn't mention the S as they are somewhat rare, I've personally never seen one in person. I believe only around 1200 S tractors were made, compared to over three thousand L tractors, and almost ten thousand K tractors
@NEAFarmKid4010 Жыл бұрын
@@kylechrist Yeah I've always really thought an S would be cool to have just because they're rarer than the others. A K or M would be more practical for anything I'd want to do, but I'm a sucker for rare stuff lol.

Here's a good question. What will owners of machines like that do when parts become unobtanium?
@kylechrist Жыл бұрын
Custom one off parts and custom castings. It's definitely not cheap but may be the only way to save some of these machines from the scrap pile
@calrob300 Жыл бұрын
There are repro parts made and sold through houses such as Steiner Tractor, "New parts for old tractors" and other suppliers.
