Today I'm opening up the Studio Ghibli and Disney Store lucky bags!!! 🥳 ONE OF THESE IS AWFUL and ONE OF THESE IS GOOD. Like, omg....what do I do with this orange thing 🥺 Oh well, some hazure misses are part of the fun, and it wasn't that expensive of a bag thankfully 😅

I totally agree. The Ghibli bag was pretty good, especially the bento boxes and the chopsticks. The Disney one wasn‘t my taste.

I love Sox. I couldn't wait to get the talking plush when I saw it. We don't have Disney store's anymore 😢 why!!! I would also wear the masks so cute.

The Ghibli bag is so cute! Earwig and the Witch movie was okay, but yeah I wouldn't pay for it. It was quite different to Ghibli's usual style.

Haha, I agree about Toy Story! I like the movies, but I wouldn't want any merch. Also, that cat didn't look very well made. The Ghibli stuff was so cute, though. 🥰

I actually liked both of the bags you got. I haven't seen the new Buzz Lightyear, either. But it does seem like you got variety of things. Too bad Disney did not have themed bags you could choose from. I wish Disney Store was still a thing in the US.

There’s still Disney stores around, they’re just in outlet settings. We’re lucky enough to have two in Pennsylvania, one in Lancaster and one in Hershey

I had a proxy get the Ghibli bag for me last year and I really liked everything in it. I would have hated that Disney bag LOL.

I wish we had a Ghibli store here. Barnes and Noble has a small section dedicated to Studio Ghibli merchandise which I want it all just is a little pricey.

Yeah, Disney was a bummer. I feel the same way about Toy Story. I’ve never heard anyone describe a plush as muscley. 😆 I will be using that in the future. 💪🏼 🙂

Totoro is my all time fav!!! I love it so much. Kiki is my next fav!! Excellent bag from Ghibli!!! How cool...I will say it I AM JEALOUS lol. In America it is hard to get really cool merchandise of those two movies. But trust me I try my best lol

“I didn’t see this movie…and I don’t really want to.” Don’t worry most of the rest of the world agrees with you. Probably why he’s in that bag lol. Though, no matter what. I think the cat is cute. As I love all cats. ❤ It seems to me that Disney was just offloading merchandise that they couldn’t sell. Maybe? Because I’m with you. More princess stuff. More novelty Disney. Toy Story is great, but it was most of the bag. So, yes. I’d say no more Disney bags.

The bags weren't too bad, but definitely lose some appeal when you have to factor in the time and effort to getting them. I used some of those soap papers in Kyoto actually because some of the smaller public restrooms didn't have soap dispensers. The Lightyear cat is kinda cute, but since that was one of the biggest items in there I could see it being disappointing if you haven't seen it/don't really need merch for it. Earwig and the Witch was ok, and set up an interesting premise, but then the movie just ends abruptly and the end credits show all the potential story in stills. I would watch it but not pay for it (I saw it on HBO Max). Thanks for making the videos, it's fun to see what's inside all of these!

I didn't like Earwig and the Witch.. it just didn't feel finished? Or like fleshed out. Idk. I hated the Disney bag last year too so I skipped it this year and you made me extra glad I did lol. Ty.

I first thought the cat was Oliver from Oliver and Company but was thinking he looked odd and why would they have him as I'm not sure how many remember that movie. Then saw the tag. I didn't see that movie either. I pretty much only loved Toy Story (the 1st one) the 3rd i saw and thought it was cute, i can pass on anything after.

Well this was a fun video :P yeah the Disney one kinda sucked. I personally didn't like anything in it except for Sox the cat only because it is a cat and I think he is kinda cute. I did like your Ghibli one though, mostly. Very Totoro heavy though on the stuff you got. You could always resell some of the stuff that you don't want.

I used a proxy Service to get myseld the 10k Fukubukuro from the japanese shopdisney And I think I would have cried if I only got toy Story stuff lol. Not a Fan of toy Story (not that I hate it or anything. Just not that interestet in it) But I also recieved two Lightyear items xD And one was the most expensive item in the bag with 9000yen 🤣 it was like a jacket... but kinda weird material...dunno how to describe it XD i won't keep it And the other was a bathtowel which one one site is Black and has a picture of the eart on it and on the other side is white with neon green outlines of the characters xD It is not so bad so I will Keeper it I also got the Mickey plush which is totally cute but ai would have wanted the minnie 🤣🤣
