Who Knows More About American Girl? A Superfan vs AI

Жыл бұрынAI has taken the world by storm, to the point that all of my University Profs warn us against using it. However, I wanted to play around with AI, specifically ChatGPT and see how much it knew about American Girl in comparison to myself, a super fan of American Girl. I got my followers to submit questions on Instagram that both the AI and I would try to answer! Enjoy!
Also, I just realized a few minutes before this video is meant to go live that at 15:18 the screenshot that is meant to go there did not display! It's a minor detail and only lasts for a few seconds, so hopefully it isn't a big deal. I swear I double checked the video sooner... To summarize what you missed, my friend said that the majority of the criticism was what I had mentioned, the rushed and lazy nature of the doll. Sorry again for that editing glitch!

I put her in this outfit in November, and only changed her out yesterday since I needed to pack the shirt and pants for a trip! But honestly with the right styling Ruthie can be so cute

That’s a good way to pass the time! The only podcast I could ever listen to was a 15 minute trivia podcast because it’s short, and I listened to it on my commutes

The other boy dolls don't have the kaya mold they have modified classic, sonali, Jess and addy molds well except logan only logan uses kaya the other use modified other molds just with closed mouth.

Pleasant Rowland sold Pleasant Company to Mattel in 1998. She remained president during the transition of the company and the completion/product design. She retired in 2000 and Mattel had full control and ownership by 2000. Courtney’s year is 1986 and she was a part of the 35th Anniversary. The Hoffman twins are set in December 1999, which is also the full transition to Mattel’s ownership. Sneaky, huh?

Though it is sneaky, I do believe the year 1999 is to lean into the Y2K hype. I guess my guess of 2002 and 1998 was right in the middle of the full transition…

@@AllycatlovesAG Yes. Products released through 2002 had been developed before 2000. Kit was released in 2000 and Kaya was released in 2002. They were both developed under Pleasant Rowland with her standards of research and education.
