I'm so glad Lumma small exists! It's such a perfect fit for me and the "string" is so convenient. Thank you for introducing me to discs! Cups gave me such terrible cervix cramps.

Me too! As a 5'2" petite woman, I was not a fan of her hello product. It is HUGE. I have found LUMMA small to be the most comfortable for me.

I found that the Moonthlies notch is really helpful with nails. With most of the others, long nails make them more tricky to remove. However, the groove is slim enough that your nail can slip under and gently slide it out.
@Rea13434O Жыл бұрын
Exactly why I’ve been looking into discs with loops or strings. With long nails breaking the suction of cups is difficult and hooking under is just not an option 😞

I just tried the flex disk and it is amazing !!! I struggled with cups for years thinking it was me - trouble inserting and suctioning and leaking and this is so much easier to insert and no suction needed!

Hey Nirvana team! I’d love it if you could do a video about the EcoBlossom disc, I got it from Amazon for only $11, and it has so many similarities to the Hello Disc! A comparison of them would be great too! You are amazing & I WISH I had had your videos when I first started my period journey 26 years ago!! Wish you all the best!

Here’s my story for anyone interested. I’m 16 and I have a very low cervix. I’ve tried 2 cups, the saalt small (soft) first which I could never get to open and get in fully without pain so I got a smaller cup, the all matters mini. At first it was pretty good although I was very aware/could feel it, but I really wanted it to work so I kept trying for about 5 months and this month I decided I was done with it because of how much pain, I think the pain was from the cup pressing up against my cervix but I don’t know how to fix it because the cups had no where else to go because of my low cervix. I’m thinking about trying a disc but what do y’all think? Any advice?

Get the smaller size. I have to have a pediatric speculum and even then it’s tight. But the last small disc she pointed to is the best fitting disc/cup I ever had. They also make a small stiff cut that you can push in and it will remain open

I’m tired of purchasing pads every few months and I was thinking about getting a disc, I tried tampons in the past and I didn’t have a problem with them but I feel uncomfortable using them for health reasons. What disc is easiest to use for a beginner or someone who’s not really experienced with period cups/discs? Please help

I started my reusable hygiene prducts with a cup, got small and large size included in the brand I bought (dont remember what brand it was), it was helpful testing both out. Having NO kids or sex, Initially, I started with the small. The small was a bit painful to insert however my skill set was not the best, pinching and making it as small as possible to insert was what helped. Moreover, due to a heavy flow, when I was ready I proceeded to use the large size included to hold more. So far so good and they have been such money and period savers! Now, I'm looking to buy a disc. Soo here I go on another adventure! All the best! Hope you find the best cup/disc for yourself. 🎉

@@arise1668 I wish you all the luck! Let me know how it goes, I’ve heard some people prefer the discs over the cups and vice versa. Your comment really helped and gave a bit more insight on which ones to try first! I didn’t even think about getting different sizes. You’re a life saver❤️

I have the saalt small disc and I think it’s pretty easy, but I also used to be a cup user before. I think discs are easier to use than cups, and I prefer the disc overall. I also MUCH prefer them over pads so consider trying one :) After using cups/discs, I now hate the sweaty feeling of a pad down there.
