Nice work. I like the simple pivot-type mounting design. I'm going to mount mine like that, but will use a spring I think instead of a strap to tighten it to the tire.

Cool bike,man! I found that the closer you get the roller to the flywheel,the less wear on the main bearing on the crankshaft. Dont forget ...you need that fan shroud.(Keep it cool).

@superbobwiley1 Mine is tuned somewhat lean, maybe more, for there is is no '4 stroking' in the entire RPM range when I dialed in my new Chinese Zama adjustable replacement carburetor. That probably helps with better mileage. Mine has run fine so far, almost 500 miles on it. What it needs is a 150 lb rider.

I like watching these videos both for the sound & style of installation. And you realize, no 2 installations are the same. I too, put a 25cc Homelite (very similar to this one) on a 26 in. Huffy with a BMX peg for drive. I don't know what gear ratio it is but it'll do 25 mph with my 200 pounds on it, taching about 6000 rpm. I ride slower though, & get the same gas mileage as you, with the same pint tank. I have gone 30 miles to a tank but you really have to drive frugal.

Hey i want to do this and your video explains it all pretty well but i have one question that might seem pretty stupid but oh well... How is ur engine igniting by being pedaled? I guess like hows the ignition system set up in this instead of the pullstart? It might be the simplest answer but its stumping me

@B34STYxWELLMAN I'm pretty sure you can either just run the throttle from the whipper snipper up to the handle or dodgy your own out of the brake.

you could but good luck finding a clutch that small to fit with the right sprocket, or make one out of the existing one if you have a welder, not to mention it is more permenant. but there are more options with gear driven on gear ratio and speed, you can also ride in the wetter conditions, friction will slip excessively...

How do you deal with the noise? In terms of driving permits, did you have to get a license to drive your bike in your town?

does weed eater use a clutch so that you can pull start it rather than push starting it because i tried to use a blower and i made all of the brackets with a pegg mounted to it and i couldnt get it started so i pulled it all apart

anything under 50cc your not required to have a license, or helmet. Helmet is recommended, but you most likely wont reach a speed thats life threatening lol.

it needs some of the shrouding put back on. The shroud helps direct air to the cooling fins, Nice otherwise. The free air method show doesn't pass enough air. This will greatly shorten the engines lifespan

On my Two Stroke Friction Drive, when I move the bike to spin the flywheel and start the motor, the magnet on the flywheel reaches the Magneto and it becomes very hard to move. How do I slove this?
