I am going to be the nerdy one that takes this a bit to seriously so... Mudan did go roughly 22,2 km or 13.7~ miles an hour, which is about a 2 km or 1 mile above the faster average cycling speed. It also is very draining to start an exercise activity and than suddenly stop paired with the fact that he already did such when he was boxing his all (because you know bro would never dare hold back(unless he did which is also a very smart choice and we wouldn't have it against him if he did even a smidge)).

AnimeJapan is mainly for the various official parties in the anime industry to promote/reveal their latest IP (eg. anime in upcoming season) and merchandise, as well as make business connections in the B2B days prior to the public days in the weekend. Not so much for fan-made stuff/Artist Alleys, which you should be looking for in doujin events. Also yeah it's a very common misconception even among the Japanese people that the inverted pyramids are where the conventions are held. Great to see that you managed to make it to this year's AJ though! I was there for the very first one back in 2014 as well as in 2019.

About the 2nd thing... I think that Comiket covers the merch side of things from so much artists. Also, in Comiket, Tokyo Big Sight is much much crowded than this, it's just in another level.

I was there! Kinda weird to think that this youtube person I watch and I were in the same building for potentially hours, tho I never saw Mudan. For a second I was scared tho that Mudan might have secretly been the same dude that I almost knocked over while in a sheer rage but the coat isn't the same so I think I'm safe. I'm glad I went but yeah it was one of the most unpleasant experiences in my life. I'm from a teensy isolated town so the sheer number of people, the ear-rupturing music volume, the flashing lights and the endless parade of anime characters i've never heard of in my life.... it sure was something.

They have fan merch conventions separately from official anime conventions. The biggest one is on December. Anime Japan is mostly for advertising current and upcoming animes + seiyuus talking panels.

We all should view this video as a PSA on proper nutrition. Saint Mudan went out on an empty stomach (save for coffee) and then exerted himself. So he could show us the dangers of not taking care of oneself. Remember folks. Always pack an emergency protein bar or something with nuts/fruits/whatever.

Anime convention? More like fitness convention, amirite? Overexerting yourself on an empty stomach probably screwed you because I know you have the prowess of walking 100,000 steps in a day. Also, whenever I felt like dying and giving up, Pocari Sweat was there to help me keep it going.
