Wow. Massive effort and very inspiring. Don’t know how you managed to drag your heavy kayak let alone getting it on and off the roof racks. I’ve had to transport my Hobie on a trailer these days. Nice. Pretty treacherous waters through there. Once headed from Coronet bay there and has to turn around. Apparently the island was once covered in bird poo, but it was all mined.

Some deep water around that island! … top fun I grew up exploring that part of the bay in the 80’s. Amazing how many boats I see fishing n the marine park area these days 😢 -anyway, great video mate, brings back great memories - thanks for the content and all the effort

Love this content, much appreciated. Have you see those kinda parachutes you can catch air in and use that to inflate the blow up bed? Nora Fishing JP is a great channel that does slot of fishing and camping. It's Japanese but has English subtitles, that's where I got the idea

I am a local ik flinders and it’s really good for whiting and a lot of squid I go squid fishing most weekends and catch heaps .! I don't know what's wrong with Pike, I guess if you leave them laying around for awhile they would get a bit iffy.... We fish specifically for them at times (Sabre Tooth Whiting), straight into ice slurry then fillet, skin and vacuum pack. Good healthy cheap food.
