this is so cool :D i haven't really seen a cosplayer use Adafruit since XRobots and his numerous Iron Man builds among other things he's made 8D Can't wait to see your full Aloy costume!!!

Good video, but i would advice to use different wire colors for the power lines and data lines. it will help keeping track of all the wires so you won't accidentally mix up the connections. or use some colored tape to temporary mark them.

Great video. One suggestion, use a momentary push switch to trigger the recharge effect.

Is the 3d file available for download? :) im a motorcycle rider and i think adding these to my jacket will improve visibility and safety. And of course some flair :)

How much those RGB LEDs consume energy? I wanna make cosplay, but i need to seperate to 6 parts with about like 20-50 LEDs for 1 part, there is not any practical way how to make them all in one (and to ensure that the cables are not visible) so i need energy source for every part. Adafruit stuffs are not expensive, but i still wanna made them wireless (hope it will work), so at end it will cost something and i dont wanna waste money on unnecessarily large batteries.

I wish I had seen more of the final work... From afar or in dark situations. Since it's beautifull, it would probably be fun to show us a few more 10 seconds of you playin' with it ? @@ thanks
