This stuff triggers me more than anything. I feel horrible for the women who fall for this sh*t (and are literally traumatized, and I feel horrible for the young impressionable, low self esteem teens who come across this content and believe it. I am ashamed to say just a year or so ago, I was so consumed and targeted with content like this that I actually believed all men were like this. Thank my lucky stars I found the other side of the internet and plenty of men who are sickened by this

I used to date a big southern guy who would do rodeos, was in the marines and had his own ranch. One would even consider him “alpha”. And yeah, he was definitely super masculine and loved his steak and potatoes. But man he was super respectful and a gentleman to all woman around him (definitely a gentleman by the back of his grandmother’s hand growing up and the fear of god lol). But the main thing is that he NEVER expected anything in return. I remember on our first date when he asked if he could hold my hand and when he asked if he could kiss me. Never felt the need to prove his masculinity or make me feel lesser than him. And I find that super attractive. It didn’t work out in the end because I ended up moving but it definitely taught me a standard for men moving forward. This new alpha dating advice is such bullshit. Because it’s driven by entitlement and insecurity. These boys don’t know what they are talking about and they should consider working on being secure and comfortable with themselves before entering the dating world.

Alpha law number one: treat every interaction with a women under the law of ten thousand. Every day ten thousand are turning 18, every day ten thousand are turning 19, every day ten thousand are turning 20, every day ten thousand are turning 21, every day ten thousand are turning 22, every day ten thousand are turning 23, and so on and so forth all the way up to 80 at a minimum, so every day ten thousand women are turning 75, every day ten thousand are turning 76, every day ten thousand are turning 77, every day ten thousand are turning 78, every day ten thousand are turning 79, every day ten thousand are turning 80. So just basic maths guys, 80 - 18 = 62 and 62 × 10,000 = 620,000. So EVERY DAY it is over half a million women's birthday and alpha law number one is in every single interaction you have with a woman, even if you don't know if it is her birthday today, treat her under the law of ten thousand and celebrate the birthdays of all those women everywhere by treating each and every woman you talk to like she is the autonomous and fully realised human being that she is! 🎂🎉 Happy birthday women, our alpha gift to you and to ourselves is a recognition of our shared humanity! 🥂🎁

The biggest irony is that the men a lot of women are obsessed with are not AT ALL what the „dating coaches“ prescribe an Alpha Male to be. For example Hozier’s fan community is majority female and he could not be further away from looking like those guys say you should look, acting like those guys say you should act, etc. It‘s just a scam, and not just because it is bad for the women those men interact with, but it’s also really, really bad for the young men being indoctrinated by these coaches

Growing up Mormon I realize I was raised with very black and white thinking, they’re either a good person or a horrible person, and your videos help me see the gray area of it all. It shows what he thinks is nonessential. In his mind, everything would probably just as good or better if schools dissolved and kids were homeschooled by their stay at home moms. And who needs hospitals when you think the world could use a bigger dose of survival of the fittest? In his mind, only weak, worthless betas and people too old to be useful need medical care, so what does it matter if health care just shrivels up to near nothing? Women dominate HR and PR, too, but he probably thinks both of those fields are superfluous.

The last one sounds like an SNL skit. I was hoping at the least he would be like what about all the work women are doing as stay at home moms, because even though he obviously refuses to admit the work women do in the workforce he might at least acknowledge the work they're doing behind the scenes to raise the kids. Not to mention all the nurses and teachers in woman dominated fields, two extremely essential positions. How can that be real?? 😫

I'd love to hear a discussion on this, too. I love Imagine Dragons, and a lot of their stuff really resonates with me personally as an ex- Mormon. Not to mention, a lot of their biggest hits came out during a big time in my life, so it's very nostalgic. I also think Dan Reynolds did a lot of good internally for the church, and it was really interesting to see someone who stayed and is influential be so nuanced about everything and so willing to risk the ire of his community to protect the vulnerable population of LGBT+ youth in the church. Would be a very interesting video.

Fun fact: alpha behavior in modern wolves has only been observed in wolves that have been in captivity with other wolves they met for the first time in captivity and in wild wolves that descend from captive wolves. The behavior seems to be a makeshift way of building a hierarchy within the artificial constraint of being in captivity together and thus being forced to be social with each other. The wolves of Yellowstone park (which I believe include captive wolves that were released into the park to help the dwindling population) sometimes organize into a temporary super pack for hunting but then disband again after the hunt and, in general, wild modern wolves just live in family groups. When four or five wolves are seen hunting together, it's usually just parents with their children. Perhaps one of the parents takes charge but it's not natural for modern wolves to have a social structure similar to that of a chimp. The concept of an alpha wolf was pretty much invented through projection of our own most basic instincts and misleading observations made of captive wolves behaving in response to the unnatural social situation people forced them into.

I don't want to alarm anyone, but I think Nova quite likes you 😉 Amy Farrah Fowler is a "dowdy" character, in that Hollywood way that treats extremely pretty women as dowdy compared to stunning women who are "normal". But Mayim Bialik does a youtube channel that my feed threw up once, which I think speaks to mental health, inclusion and wellbeing (but not influencer-esque; Dr Bialik is a neuroscientist as well as an actress, so it's rooted in science, not... magic, or "try feeling positive!!!" bs) Your comment on the spicy crisps reminded me of a phrase I heard someone say (again, in the context of inclusion, since he was sharing a part of his culture): "what's sweet in the mouth is sour in the bam-bam"

"Let's detoxify Alpha bullshit..." with Jared and Sam. I'm only on the first tiktok where the guy's going through the rules and it's funny because every rule has this little granule of "so close" in it that you guys always point out as being so close to healthy if only it weren't wrapped in this toxic package. I enjoyed special correspondent WineMomJared. Hopefully you find more reasons to have him on.

20:28 "It's the response that gives a woman live, not you" i mean what are we to each other if not our communication towards each other? Especially in texts. Of course, you sitting alone in a dark room looking at pictures of women and having interesting thoughts and feelings doesn't do anything for anyone else but you. The response is all she knows about you at that moment.

Love isn't really supposed to facilitate survival. It's suppossed to facilitate raising of kids together and procreation. Meanwhile infatuation (love as a noun?) is meant to facilitate procreation, and is definitely not designed to facilitate survival. I mean, the lengths some guys will go to get some DEFINITELY won't facilitate survival.

@@ZelphOntheShelfNot really. Evolution acts on gene scale, so if a gene can cause organisms with it to outcompete all other organisms in the species, but ends up destroying it, it will be successful, at least until the extinction. Kinda like cancer (side note: cancer is thougth to be a return to a single celled lifestyle, while competing with all other cells, and ultimately the organism) But genes typically "want" to outcompete all other genes in the gene pool without destroying the species.

I will say that sadhorny is real, but like it's kinda gross to go after people who are just sadhorny like it's manipulative almost, if you are depressed as shit and sending lewds gives a rush of dopamine and the other person knows you're not into them and youe just sending sad lewds then it's kind of the ethical thing to stop engaging that way.

This guy knows he's getting pics from women who don't actually like him which means they've smthing going on too and maybe he should be the bigger person and not request lewds from every gal ever.

As with all groups, they inevitably have some "good" points but overall they're insane. For example, I actually agree with the red pillers that it's a bit ridiculous that it's entirely acceptable for women to reject men based on income, weight, height, p3nis size, eye color, and even for things like them looking dino chicken nuggets (I remember a girl doing that in Rexburg when I was there), but then everyone screams and wails when a guy says he prefer thin women who haven't had a lot of sexual partners. That's the one point I can agree with. But overall they're kinda crazy. It gets stressful living in a psychological box like that

It's acceptable for anyone to reject anyone for any reason because that's what consent is.
