Just got that exact bag in! Evade 1.5 Lite in the ranger green. This is an AMAZING pack and def lives up to the hype! Can't go wrong with this one!

Nice review. Excellent bag. Good to see A19 win the award. I’ve got the Lite in gray rip stop and think it’s a great looking and functional pack. My default is usually plain black. Yep the bag is heavy, I suspect it’s mostly due to all the pals and Velcro in the main compartment, conceal and admin areas. When empty it feels like something was left inside. I suppose bigger zips at least on the main sections would be an improvement as well as losing weight, although it does have a lot of features.

Man, i just wish the zips had a dwr finish. Alpha one niner has some of best organization in the market. Is that ranger green or Od? 1.5 is a better choice since its less weight as well!

Hi ! Please I really need an answer.. I’m going for a world tour soon, and this will be my edc backpack (hiking, bushcraft, visiting, etc etc etc ). Do you think I should take the 500D or 1050 ? I’m looking to gain weight but I need something resistant too… THANKS A LOT 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Is it worth it to pay the extra $45 for ballistic nylon or is 500d already overkill?

I think the 500D is really nice, the ballistic nylon isn’t necessary in my opinion.

How much did you pay for shipping to the US for a backpack? How much in total (backpack price, tax, and shipping).

Because they sent me this I didn't pay for the shipping but it would be $182ish for the lite version. That's the price with the standard shipping they offer.

Total shipped in the US for me was in the $170 range. Shipping was wicked fast!

It's a decent bag, but I'd still rate the Vertix Gamut 2.0 or the Nomadic Research Raid pack above this one. The front pouch options are nice, but any pack that does not have a back compartment for concealment make it simply not usable for me.

@@OdieMatthews Hey! I should've clarified better. It does not a full concealment panel that is easily accessed to put a soft plate and/or a ccw with access to spare mags. It does have the pocket, but I feel more comfortable with a better access position and the ability to fit the holster whereever I want it on a back panel that opens completely.

@@OdieMatthews You're the second person I've seen to really like this bag and it's something I'm still going to check out. From a complete EDC standpoint (when I'm using a pack and not a messanger bag) my go to is the Vertx Gamut 2.0 (messanger is a Vanquest Envoy 13). If you end up doing a review on the bag let me know what you think. It's 25L but Vertx also has the Ready and other options that are in the 20L range. But this was a great review on the Evade!

If you take a laptop with you everywhere you go I’d suggest the full version.
