Alpha Tauri AT03 F1 2022 Car Red Bull V6 Powered Testing at Imola Circuit- Yuki Tsunoda in Action!

Жыл бұрынLast April, just after the Imola GP, four F1 teams remained at the circuit for some testing with next year's Pirelli tyres. One of them was Alpha Tauri, and this video in particular shows you the AT03 in action during the second day, when it was driven by the Japanese youngster Yuki Tsunoda. The car is equipped by the Red Bull V6 power unit which is an evolution of the older Honda engine. At the moment the AT03 collected 27 points, 11 of which scored by Tsunoda, with an highest result of 7th exactly here in Imola. Enjoy the video!

Honda engine sounds amazing, this thing sounds old school. But here AlphaTauri was running with a low engine mode with the cylinder cut disabled, therefore less crackles, pops and bangs. I was at Barcelona this year and can confirm that the Honda sound is awesome at full power. The regulation change regarding the wastegates will also be a factor to the change of sound.

2:45 did the engine sound set off a car alarm here? I hear beeping. If so then it shows just how much louder these engines have become. Nothing like the garbage in 2014/2015.
