Hey Kevin, don’t worry about it. If you’re happy as you are then good for you, but there are women in their 40s-50s that are alone (divorced, separated, widows) that are still looking to spend quality time with a mature man and the best thing is - they’re old enough to appreciate that playing stupid games achieves nothing. From personal experience I can confirm that it is possible and worth keeping an open mind. All the best.

An older lady at work (not sure her age but I think she might by around 58 years old) always makes me tea and brings it to my desk and speaking of desk she even gives my desk a wipe down (no rude jokes please 😉)... why does she do this? Because she told me misses her husband who passed away and her sons live away with their wives and children so she doesn't have any men in the house to cook for or clean after. Now whether she has ulterior motives or not...I thinks that's very nice of her. However the younger women at work are up their own arses.

I work in an office with 1 woman who is always cold, and another woman who is always hot. I spend half my day outside dealing with and dressing for whatever the conditions are in the out of doors, but I also have to account for inside as well which is pretty difficult during the extremes.

Answer I got = Women also have more fat between the skin and the muscles, so the skin feels colder, as it's slightly further away from blood vessels. Women also tend to have a lower metabolic rate than men, which reduces heat production capacity during cold exposure, making women more prone to feeling cold as the temperature drops.

About "lie detector". It's just showing your pulse, temperature, and so on. It can show that you are nervous or stressed, but can't detect lies. Obviously, the guy is nervous.

Ah, it always makes me laugh when women show a complete and utter lack of self awareness. That women flatly stated that men are 'so superficial', but when asked about her height preferences, she instantly stated a superficial standard and didn't even realise she made herself look hypocritical. How can people be that dumb? Props to the guy interviewing her though, he neatly trapped her and she wasn't smart enough to spot it. She walked right into that particular trap. Men are superficial, we are. So are women. At least we are capable of admitting it though. The funny thing is that in these offices, men have to sit in a suit that is quite warm, and a woman will come in a thin blouse and complain about the air conditioning, maybe she should just put on a jacket. Not to mention that this woman has no idea what it's like to freeze, as she didn't work outside in the winter like a lot of blue collar men do, the vast majority of them.

Common courtesy and being polite are appropriate for interacting with strangers and acquaintances. Respect is earned (over time). In the courtroom, the judge has rank. In a medical setting, the Dr has rank. In unfamiliar situations, being polite is sufficient.
