I own premiere edition. I've never heard that before…but the popping sound is so stimulating, and it feels loud as it is.

As Sergio says, more anti-pollution restrictions result in less sound.

Of course, current FAP to pass Euro6d decrease exhaust volume considerably.

Do you know if all Premiere Editions are born without DPF? I’m saving up for a A110, and that would give me yet another reason, to get a Premiere.

That's right, all PEs are without FAP. Maybe even a few Pure and Legends on 2018/19 but I'm not sure.

Is this the standard (not active sport) exhaust in normal (valve closed) and sport (valve open) modes?

The sports exhaust is the active one. You described correctly but I don't understand the first part of the question. On Alpine A110 you can have the normal exhaust without the valve and the sport exhaust which is with the valve.

bello vedere la telecamera che si sposta ad ogni accelerata. Con la mia alle volte si brucia perchè esce la fiammata, sopratutto dalla bancata dx. It happens :-)
