Actually on the 2nd of June 2015 The smiler Crashed and Caused 2 teenage girls to lose legs because of an error on the ride

Fun fact, the model of the track itself isn't ENTIRELY accurate, but it is similar.

Wow amazing I was on the smiler 2nd or 3 day of opening and durning waiting you hear something drop on the floor a bolt had fell from the track and there was a slight gap in the track then a teqniuqal difficulty's announcement is made you then see the guys with this big industrial sized spanner to hand tighten it not a drill hmmm and I went an accident will happen here soon as I rode it after they fixed the issue a massive jolt was painful on that part of the track and then a year later I planned to go Alton towers but couldn't make it cause of exam on the day of the accident that was just to close and scary I do still love the towers I'm yet to ride wickerman :)
