I have these boots. Perfect for running around in Mpls for snow and slushy environments. They are not warm but they are waterproof. Everything I expexted.

Thx for the review. So much hype on this style of shoe. Starts to all sound like marketing. Reality...its a flexible shoe that doesn't hold your foot very tight. Obviously sizing may be a factor. But thanks for your take 👍

My Altra’s lets my heel slide around a little more than I prefer, but I still like them on dirt trails.

They’re definitely comfortable and have good grip, but my foot slides around too much for my liking. Are these your main hiking boots?

@@roamingthetrails For right now they are. I do most of my hiking in KY and TN so I usually don't need a mountain type boot. When I do need a boot Merrell's usually do the trick for me, but I do prefer trail runners. I do plan on going to Colorado next year and summiting some 14ers and I know I'll need something different.
