I think sometimes we get so bogged in exhaustion and misery that we lose sight of a better life.
I've been in similar places, and I'm really glad I continued taking steps to try to get to a better spot.
I know it's not simple for everyone, but I've found that maintaining this pursuit keeps a bit of hope in my life - which already makes it more enjoyable.
Just some thoughts. Hope you're all well today!

Amen to that. Hits so much harder for me after hearing so much condescending or well-meaning but misguided advice, to hear this guy, who is so actually genuine and compassionate. For me I had this epiphany today that, one reason I'm so tired is because I don't feel like I can trust people, so I wanna work on that, maybe you feel the same?

@@unidorsalicosahedron7416 We need to foster strong relationships with ourselves. Thats not to say that being alone is an inevitable existence. But what I do mean is that you’re never truly alone. Since I’ve never formed a very close relationship with another person because of my inability to trust sometimes I wish I could just clone myself and keep myself company. Then I realized that you can and should keep yourself company. You can’t run away from how you feel and your thoughts all the time sometimes just sitting down and listening to yourself is what it takes. In a relationship with another person, you can’t just ignore conflict, because problems are inevitable, and they will fester. This is why so many relationships end in divorce. It’s the same thing with yourself, you can’t just ignore and run away from the internal conflict through escapism. Some people keep this up for long enough, that their depression becomes so bad that they “file a divorce” with themselves. The easy way out. The solution in a relationship is to listen to your partner. Seriously just put ego aside and find understanding. Why are they unhappy in the relationship, what needs to change. And the very act of listening to someone, without arguing, puts them at ease. It diffuses so much tension and makes people realize you are not their enemy. I believe you can do the same thing with yourself, and if you fail to, you start to loath yourself and “give up” on yourself. Just remember you can never give up on yourself, you may feel like your own biggest enemy, but you have absolutely nothing in this world if you don’t have yourself. You will never not be “by yourself”

Thank you so much I really needed this right now in my life and regardless of stress eating better and working out does somewhat help even if you can't work out that day making better choices in food does.

I love this message !!!! Recently a lot of things have been making me feel drained , so I’m taking the time to focus on my health , exercising more , spending my hard earned money on things I want not just bills and food , spending more quality time alone and not around people that are draining, AND taking time for self care (Korean facials and shopping 🥰) .Sometimes we need to choose to feel happy and then take necessary steps to make it happen !

Thank you for this Hampton. I was feeling guilty for messaging to tap out from work this morning. I was absent but I felt it was unethical doing so when I was just really fatigued for reasons I can't think of. I never realized that maybe I was looking after myself. Back then, I wouldn't be absent because I felt inefficient or lazy. But I know this is just more than laziness. I can't operate well at work and I push myself doing so, I'd break or strain myself more in the days ahead. This makes me feel validated. You are right when you said, "we are not meant to feel this way". And so, I guess it isn't wrong for wanting to take care of myself and tending to my needs when I needed to.

Thank you for this video. I've been feeling the same, exhaustion and just existing kind of feeling for a few months now. I'm seeing a therapist which helps some days but having a week between visits has me having bad days when my motivation ends. To make life more enjoyable, I've been trying to do things I used to like, with the conscious effort to make it feel judgement free. I'm taking up painting again, only for myself. And cooking but with no need to be fancy with it. Lowering my expectations of what simple tasks I can do for myself helps to limit my perfectionist side and get things done. Good luck to everyone out there, I wish you the best on your own journeys

I first watched this in a time i was about to change my life drastically because i could not living like i was before. It helped me to see that all the Stress that came with the change is worth it in the end. Now ca 9 month later i saw it again and i realised how far i have come. I still have a big way to go but i am in a much better place now compared to back then. Long story short... Thank you my friend!
