Күн бұрынMy first animatic! This turned out way more polished than I intended to, so it will (hopefully) be my last animatic of this detail level (though I definitely have more in my drafts!)
I've been thinking about this song for the Yunmeng pride twins for a while now and after three weeks of works here it finally is.
The characters are not mine, but from the novel Mo dao zu shi by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu

Friendly reminder that Jiang Cheng for 13 yrs was the only person who could tell the difference between the past Lotus Pier and the present Lotus Pier...:')

I don't believe Jiang Cheng hated Wei Wuxian all those years, I think he just need someone to blame thats why he acted that way but he knows its not entirely his brother's fault. I think he really missed him and he's also hoping/looking forward for his return. When he caught Wei Wuxian he didn't torture him and killed him on the spot but asked him if he has something to say, maybe he wanted to hear 'sorry' for not keeping the promise that they'll stay with each others side as long as they're alive.

For me, Wei Ying already had done enough. He always think about others, now its time for himself. He was given a second chance, and that should be use for him to be finally be happy. Same goes for Jiang Cheng, Lan Wangji and for everyone.

Jiang Cheng also wanted to Wei to trust him... Like in the Temple when Jiang Cheng got mad at Wwx, not for giving him the core or something, he just wanted that Wei could trust him and tell what was going on...

this twin prides really live to their name.. i seriously wish dat when jc let it all out during the final scene, wwx would also bawling and hugging his lil bro and both just ugly crying while hugging like they need it.. as bros growing up together and losing their family and at one point, losing each other, they both need it.. but noooooo both so prideful..

@@Arbitraryram yea exactly:( Like Wei Ying gave his core for Jiang Cheng, he also got caught by the Wen sect so WWX wouldnt get caught which he thought abt at the end of the novel so I think maybe he also wants to get along with WWX again in the future:( I would b rlly sad if they never talked again

You did an amazing job with this! It really hits you right in the feelings. I was surprised that the calmer brother fit Jiang Cheng so well, but, well, there is nothing calm about Wei Wuxian.

Aaa thank you! Calm is definitely a relative thing when it comes to the two of them, but for all the grumbling and yelling JC does I really do believe he just wants his dumbass brother to come home every now and then (and let’s be real most people would appear docile next to wwx ffgddfj

I first heard this song only recently and knew someone somewhere must have made a Twin Prides vid for it. Thanks for retroactively fulfilling my wish and making it just as beautiful and devastating as I knew it would be. Gonna go cry now
