Protecting the public and rehabilitating juveniles is a 24/7 operation. From the laundry staff to the juvenile correctional officers, Team DJJ is committed to bettering our youth at all hours of the day. We focus on the physical, mental and spiritual needs of our juveniles in order to best equip them for life after DJJ.

Mr. Andy Broughton , you changed my life in the early 90s. Thank you very much for your commitment to changing the lives of troubled young men and women. Congratulations on your success to becoming Director! Very well deserved! 👏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸. I am 37 yrs old now, reside in lovely Arizona, married to a great wife, and just had our first child 5 months ago. A son! Thank you again Mr. Broughton!

did a year here in 08' when i was 14... i am 26 now havnt been in trouble since and i can honestly say it was one of the most rewarding years of my life... i made life long friends, set up a real support system and got back on track to live a fulfilling and successful life as an adult.... crazy place with all the riots (pretty much a weekly basis with some few week intervals here and there), but other wise it is a very good place for at risk youth to get the wake up call they need to get on the right track as they are looking forward to transitioning into adulthood....

yeah i did a year here back in 08'... i wasnt an insider, just in gen pop in the under 15 yrs of age dorms... it was called sigma back then but got shut down about 2 weeks before i was released (the dorm was falling apart from age) and what was the 15 and under dorm (sigma unit located on the far side of willow lane) and the violent crimes dorms (ceder dorm in the main court yard) both got moved from John G to the other side at Birchwood right next to the sex offender dorms (most people in my dorm where upset about moving with them.. i was indifferent to it though)
