Seen them often and they always have new stories - and new tunes, Phil's a very talented composer - in amongst the old favourites. So they always sound fresh to me, as well as both being such nice chaps and hugely talented. Greatly looking forward to seeing them again at Strathpeffer Pavilion on 9 May ;-)

Does anyone know of a video of "Sarah's Song"? I heard Phil play it on Prairie Home Companion a few years ago and I almost had to pull over & cry it was so moving and beautiful. I have it in studio version on a CD by Bain & Cunningham, but would love to hear the stripped down live version again.

I'm laughing at this one; but I remember seeing them at Cambridge FF years ago, and they told the same jokes ( slowly ), and played the same tunes, at each performance. But not this one. Which was a little disappointing, to say the least, after the first time.

fergies band dont even start and finish at the same time,they have set the music back 50 years,phil and ally are 80% stories about mythical west coast "legends" and,sound like a poor scottish dance band before the rhythm section turns up!
