You failed to mention any information about lifestyle and diet changes that can decrease the likelihood of developing symptomatic Alzheimer’s. Instead, you specifically insinuate that only bad things can come from learning about your personal health information.

I think the objective of this video is to explain the apoe genes and risk factors. I am sure there are video that show how to minimize AD risks by adopting healthier lifestyles.

Kathleen, you are correct. Using 23andme, I found that I have 1 allele of the ApO e4 gene. My father and 2 older sisters died of or with Alzheimer’s disease which is now also known as type 3 diabetes. There are specific diets and lifestyle changes that can help prevent or at least delay onset of symptoms. Do a search for Dr Dale Bredesen, and Amy Berger CNS, for starters. Genes load the gun, but diet and lifestyle pull the trigger. There ARE things you can do that actually work, unlike current medications that “might” reduce or delay symptoms a little and cost a fortune. And since big pharma can’t make any money from you on diet and lifestyle, you won’t hear about it from Cleveland or any other medical experts.
