What error is Paul really identifying in the book of Galatians? Are there people today that teach the very Galatian error that Paul warned against?

Amen! Thank you for teaching the truth of the gospel and exposing the lies. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:28-29

My comment is pertaining to the people that said you are putting them under the law. I was born into the catholic church, got saved when i was 19, and then, after a decade of spiritual growth, I was greatly affected by lordship salvation. My spiritual growth was slow, so i would consider myself, even in my 30's, very much a babe in Christ. During that slow growth, I was one of those people that would have said that you were trying to put me under the law (I did not know you at the time. I only recently discovered your channel and Yankee's channel.). I was so angry and didn't trust anyone that brought up "works" because of my time as a catholic and being influenced by lordship salvation teachings.. I am slowly coming out of it. Listening to your preaching, Yankee's preaching, and some others has helps me a lot. Thank God for your ministry and theirs.

I have believed grace alone thru Christ alone and then listened to a lordship doctrine and started to strive. I was attacked by the enemy saying i lost salvation. What terrifies me is where it says you are severed from Christ. I am burdened by this and need prayer that i can recover. I want to rest in Christ like i used to. I pray that is possible as i ask Him to take this burden from me. Holy Spirit told me I forgot grace. 😭. I never want to do that again.

In one ditch, is the lordship salvationist that combines salvation with discipleship, which truly is "Galatian error"; and the other ditch, which is antinomianism. Good explanation of the practical life of the believer.

I dont think that there is one person on earth that goes to hell because I presented an unclear gospel. God moves heaven and earth to saved anybody who will believe, so me sharing a false gospel with someone will not keep this person from getting saved in the longrun (it may confuse them for a while though) God will not point his finger at me and say "see, this person goes to hell because of YOU!". I also dont fear that if I dont share the gospel constantly, that people may go to hell. I trust God, and know that he will get EVERY sheep! It is not dependend on me. I even think it is contrary: if I constantly try to get the gospel down peoples` throat, it will eventually get harder for them to believe. They may get scared through that. Doesnt mean they will not get saved if they will believe one day, but it makes everything more complicated. I have learned to keep my tongue, and wait till the right time is come to present the Gospel: the right time where God has worked in their heart so they will accept it when hearing it. Sorry, I dont want to insult you in any way, just heard a little stress in your voice when you said "sharing the gospel, sharing the Gospel; they wont get saved and go to hell if you share a false Gospel". I dont believe that. Sorry if I am misinterpreting you! PS I also think works are important so dont get me wrong... 🙂wonderful sermon!!

Amen Brother. Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he would have something to glory/boast in, but not before God. Abraham was justified by faith 430 years before Moses gave the law. The law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Salvation by grace excludes law/work as a means of salvation. I do what I do because of what Jesus already did for me. Thank God it is His perfect righteousness that is imputed to my account. Without His righteousness no one will see God. Romans 4:6. And He paid the debt of sin I owe God and set me free. John 3:18. The blood of Jesus covers it all. The blood of animals could never pay for sin. It had to be offered over and over. But the Lamb of God, Jesus, one blood sacrifice is for all sin. First John 2:2 And He is the propitiation for our sin, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. Romans 1:16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, (First Corinthian 15:1-4) for it is the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVETH, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 6:23. For the penalty for sin is death, and we all sin, First John 1:8, and we all die, BUT, the good news, THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Thanks be to God for His UNSPEAKABLE GIFT, ETERNAL LIFE. Second Corinthians 9:13. No one can earn it. Romans 4:5. John 6:47. Believe and receive the free gift. The simplicity of the gospel. Acts 16:31. "IT IS FINISHED".

Who are the people that are accusing you of the Galatian error?
@BibleLine
@BibleLine 2 жыл бұрын
David Benjamin and Petra Rentaus. Sadly, I believe these two are believers. The have the gospel correct. However, they both had very bad local church experiences and it has led to a twisted view of discipleship. Both of them accuse myself, Dr. Arnold, Dr. Cucuzza, and other clear grace teachers of their definition of Galatian error. Galatian error is adding works to the gospel for justification. They say it is ANY form of work. I can't really pin them down on a specific belief. If they would just listen... alas, they result to making long videos which aim to slander fellow believers in Christ. I hope this video is helpful to you and accurately portrays what the real error was in Galatia. Thanks! - Jesse

@@BibleLine Thanks I like to keep a mental list of teachers to avoid, These videos are really helpful. One question, when I use Matthew 7:21-23 and John 6:40-41 to prove that only those who believed on the Son go to heaven[who did the will of the Father], I sometimes have my opposition saying something like "Was Jesus saying that He came to believe in the Son, since that is God's ONLY will?" siting John 6:38. I'm able to give a weak counter argument, but that doesn't cut it for me.

@@BibleLine This is the problem with KZfaq - anyone can get on and start teaching strange new doctrines and get ignorant sheep to follow them. You'd be hard-pressed to find an actual real life Pastor who teaches the nonsense these people are teaching. It's a phenomenon that exists almost exclusively online.
@BibleLine
@BibleLine 2 жыл бұрын
@@biblebeliever2795 It does appear to be an online doctrine. Our team attempted to chat with Petra and we were declined. This is what I find so interesting about the whole community. They desire to be remove all the burdens of this life yet seem to only post videos and community tabs that burden other fellow believers. We want to win souls, period. It's our goal to address those who come against us and have a calm discussion over what the Bible teaches. Ultimately, if we are in error then the Scriptures will show that error and we will gladly pivot to the truth. However, a simple analysis of the Bible teaches against their doctrine of rewards and discipleship. Alas, we do pray for them. Thanks for the comment. - Jesse

I recently started watching Gregg Jackson , who also follows David Benjamin, and at first I agreed with a lot about what he says. I believe that he’s a true believer, but the Holy Spirit has been revealing to me that he’s a divider of the brethren. He spends the entirety of his videos basically “marking and avoiding” “false teachers” that teach Galatian error and he basically believes that any form of good works is “working for your salvation.” He even accuses 99% of people not being saved if they do any form of works.

Hey bro, you've got a great grasp of scripture. A vast amount of that is that you stick with KJV. I just heard you say to use a translation that is clear... I'm not trying to be pompous in any way but it's of vital importance that you discover the reasons behind the developing of so many variations of scripture. The KJV is translated from Textus receptus. The received text that was never lost. Virtually every other translation comes from a combination of Vaticanus, Siniaticus and textus receptus. The origins of Vaticanus and Sinaiticus are much more than suspect. They are demonic. Brought about through Jesuits, Tischendorf, Simonides, Wescott and Hort... etc.. Please. The NLT literally says "Repent of your sins and be baptised". The NIV was translated by 14 people, one of whom was a transgender male lesbian. That is a woman who was lesbian and became translated. I could go on but I won't. Take time to make sure your flock knows these things.

Yes, we agree with you. We just don’t believe in double inspiration. - Trent
@skokenos
@skokenos 7 ай бұрын
@@BibleLine I'd never heard the term "double inspiration" before so I had to spend some time finding out what is meant by it. In doing so, I do understand now the meaning and I have to agree with you. The Masoratic text and the received text were inspired and any deviation from that belief is heretical. And though, over the years, I have become more and more convinced that the KJV is the truest English translation, I can't come to a conclusion that God's people somehow made mistakes in the original Greek, Hebrew or Aramaic and the King James translators corrected these supposed mistakes. If that were so then we never had an accurate depiction of God's word until 1611 and that would make God a liar in that he promised to preserve his word to all generations.

@@skokenos Yeah, the KJV may be one of the most accurate, but it is NOT perfect. It has errors, just like every other version or translation. I don’t have a problem with the KJV because I still use it. I do however have a problem with KJV Onlyism. Telling people that it’s the only truly inspired Word of God in the English language is just foolishness.

Maybe watch the documentary named "Tares Among the Wheat" and see if your opinion doesn't change. Warning: it's 3 hours long however, if you care to understand why so many are KJV only its a necessary investment of your time.

The Galatians error was going back to the law of circumcision in the flesh for salvation (Gal 5: 1-6). God commandments had nothing to do with it.

The law is the same as the ten commandments, the mortal and sacrificial law go together because it all leads up to you working for a wage. Stop trying to confuse people. When it comes to the the laws God expects perfection but because we are not perfect that's why Jesus had to die for us.
