Thanks Steve! I watched your video and fixed my dryer. Ordered my part from McComb's Supply off Google Express. They had an online discount, and I paid $22.48 for the element/fuse/hi-limit shipped! I feel like I accomplished something.

To replace the heating element, you don't need to remove the drum. I just reached in and removed the element and put in the new one.

Hello, we recently replaced our rear felt wrap and when we put everything back together, the dryer would not turn on. Its plugged in, no tripped fuse...what could be the reason it won't turn on or reasons? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Question, my model (purchased maybe five or six years ago) looks much newer than the one you worked on here. Have there been in major changes in Amana’s design since the model you demonstrated.
